Favorite Mexican restaurant. Lots of choices on the menu. Food always tastes fresh. Usually get takeout which takes 20 minutes on an average night to make.
The food & service are ALWAYS amazing ! The owner does a fabulous job with this establishment! I highly recommend this place to anyone around!
Loved it. Not the best Mexican food but unpretentious with overflowing plates. Home run was the chicken tortilla soup and margaritas. I would return just for that. Salsa was tasty. Avoid, avoid, the guacamole. It was so unappealing, even the texture and color.
We were very disappointing with the takeout meal we received on New Year’s Day. Since we live across the street from the restaurant we thought we would do business with a neighbor instead of cooking. When I called to discuss our displeasure with the meal the person who answered the phone hung up on me. I was not being rude, I just expressed my unhappiness with the meal that we received. It was a very disappointing experience.
Guadalajara special-Beef tamale, sauce was good, tamale was dry, beef & chicken taquitos were greasy. Chips horrible tasting and all small broken pieces.
This is the worst food I have ever had at El mezcal. Half of my meal was inedible! It had been microwaved to death! Our waiter was not helpful at all in trying to find the manager. My chimichanga had black burnt chicken at each end. Lettuce had brown edges. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I have never been served food like this before at El mezcal in all the years I have ate here??
Food was decent but the customer service by which seemed to the manager was absolutely horrible. I worked in the service industry for years and if any of my employees ever spoke to any of our customers the way he spoke to me tonight, they would be fired on the spot. There was no reason to be so mean to me. Do better. There was seriously no reason for it. He ruined the whole experience. Nobody in my family will ever be back.
We’ve been coming here for years. It’s our favorite place for standard Mexican fare. They have recently renovated the inside and it looks great! Fresh paint and paintings really brighten it up! Last night we waited about 10 minutes for drinks, but they were doing their best being short staffed. We’ll be back!
They have updated the interior and it is a much brighter environment. As always, the food is excellent. They've even added new menu items.
