Without a doubt the best ribs anywhere in the southeast. Fall off the bone and the rib sauce was out of this world. The sweet potato casserole was the bomb too. Good salad bar also. The staff, waiters and waitresses were kind and friendly. Reasonable prices !!!! I myself will eat there again and again every time I visit.
We decided to try something new, on our most recent vacation to the Smokies. I was looking forward to eating here, because I’ve read many great reviews. No one in my family enjoyed their meals though . I love a good salad bar but it was just ok to me. The lettuce was very wet. (I guess the lettuce was really clean, at least). My burger was burnt my. My husbands filet was unimpressive, & the children’s steak was very chewy. The fries were like curls & nothing remarkable. The rolls we were given, were ok. I ordered a dessert that was a trio & the blackberry cobbler was ok, & probably my favorite art of my meal. I had also got some mashed sweet potatoes & they weren’t too great either. We spent over $100 & the meal was not worth it for the quality of food. The restaurant does have a nice atmosphere, & our waitress was nice
Had our usual excellent experience. Salad bar, soup, pretzels bites, ribeye and cobbler all excellent. And the staff provides friendly, top notch service. One of our favorite places to eat.
was starting to lose faith in finding a good restaurant in the area. If you come from a place where the food is very good you will find it lacking in most places here because they know you are on vacation and you have to eat so they don't care about quality but not here. The service was perfect. my son and I had the filet which was prepared perfect. The food was not overloaded with sodium which you will find at most other places. I used to work in the industry and I am a stickler for cleanliness so I look in the kitchen and under the seats this place is clean I was impressed. Very nice atmosphere excellent experience.
We really had no idea what we were walking into when we arrived at the 5pm open one evening. What an amazing salad bar and menu choices. The food was all delicious, and we appreciated the smaller dessert options after the feast! We plan to visit every trip to Gatlinburg now that we've found this place.
Great salad bar and awesome lodge atmosphere. Great for kids and family. One of the best salad bars I’ve experienced. At the far end of the strip, so a little less busy.
You want a great steak? Come here!! The staff works as a team so you never want for anything, they are already bringing it. Beautiful interior, huge salad bar and excellent appetizer selection. We will definitely be back on our next trip!!
Stopped by on our first visit years ago and is our number 1 spot to go. Made a pledge to eat dinner twice this time and they never disappointed in food (salad bar!!!!) and in any of the waitstaff. Extremely friendly and beyond accommodating… salad bar… love their stories of Gatlinburg … salad bar… and personal stories of who they are …salad bar… have never had a experience that was less than a “10”.
We originally stopped because we were having a hard time finding parking in Gatlinburg with the crowds and traffic. We were happy that Park Grill had their own parking. They were able to seat us right away. We were very happy with the salad bar, the friendly staff, and the great food. We felt very lucky to have stumbled upon a great place!
As other reviewers have noted, The Park Grill isn't where you go for "Cheap Eats" in Gatlinburg, but the food, atmosphere, and service are well worth the price. The dining room has the feel of a mountain lodge without crossing the line into kitsch, something not every place in Gatlinburg has managed. The menu is varied, from steaks to barbecue to salmon, and they have an excellent salad bar, which could be a meal by itself. My server did a great job of explaining my options, and was friendly and attentive throughout my meal. Overall a great experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back!
