Lone sitting outside on the strip, we stop in every year! Our waiter Simon foot great care of us, and had a great sense of humor. I love that there are vegetarian options, the Beyond Burger is SO good!!!
It's sometimes hard to rate restaurants when the economy is this cruddy and no one can find people to work etc. But it's still our experience here at this date and time. The waitress was pretty awesome. We had an autistic child with us who was currently undecided between 2 meals. She was so awesome and just knew how to work with him. It was so fluid and natural and just awesome to see and experience. So thank you to her for that experience! We started with the huge appetizer to start and everything on there tasted great and a great start to the meal. My better half and I ordered a long islands. The service of these drinks were a little slow and probably not due to the server. They were pretty decently mixed. Our meals were warm when we got them. Not super hot, Like they sat under the heat lamp too long. But my salad was the right temp, lol. Everyone was happy enough with the food and flavors.
Wings were fabulous ?!Tater skins, amazing ?Drinks, was good but wasn't chilled enough. So, after a bit tasted like liquid medicine. LolHowever, I will return when back in the area.Server was Fantastic. Very professional
I'm not a fan of chain restaurants but we were starving and everything else closed at 9. Did a pick up order during spring break at 9pm. It took 20 minutes and the food was surprisingly good. We shared the whiskey grilled chicken, broccoli, mashed potatoes and side salad (broccoli was the best restaurant broccoli I've had!). Kids burgers and chicken fingers as well. All of it was cooked well and really decent. I couldn't have asked for more at this time of night for $40. I haven't been to tgi Fridays in 15 years but I'd definitely go back.
Food was good, however the service was poor. We sat at the bar two bar tenders. Very few guest. We had to get their attention everytime we wanted drinks. We had to get up go to other end of bar to get our bill.
Only reason it got 2 star is because of the fresh food.We arrived in town around 830 and walked to tgi Fridays. Checked all sources and said they closed at 10pm, even the door didn't have any closing times. We got inside about 845 and was greeted with smiles and seated even though it was almost closing time nobody told us. Our server Dante is a different story. He did not want to serve us, his attitude, and he slammed our drinks down at the table. He made it very clear that we weren't worth his time as he made a point to clean his tables around us while giving us dirty looks. He also had to be asked for refills after we hadn't had one after our food arrived. When he dropped the check, he waited no longer than 2 minutes before stopping by to ask "is your check ready yet??" We've never felt so unwelcome by one person to the point we got boxes to take our food back to the hotel. Never going back to this location
Charlie was wonderful, very welcoming, cheerful, & ensured that we were comfortable. This is our 2nd time to visit this restaurant since it welcomed our little fur baby. Thank you to the rest of the restaurant crew who came out to sing happy birthday to my daughter. Would recommend this place!!
Average place. Most TGIF have went down hill, especially since the pandemic. Much better places to eat in downtown Gatlinburg!!!
Restaurant not busy at all, I was seated right away and sat there for 7 minutes and saw no waiter. Two ladies were then seated next to me, another 4 minutes went by and a waitress acknowledged them and returned to take their order and still did not acknowledge me, so I left. HORRIBLE SERVICE
The food is good and they can customize it for what you want. The waitress was extremely nice, helpful and friendly, she made our day. They are dog friendly/ pet friendly in the outside area which was so hard to find in the area around!
