Mrs. Barbara is GREAT. My boyfriend andI went back in December and we went every night of our trip to see her. She gave us great suggestions on things to do around town since she is a native. We loved her and will be back! The bar is very laid back.
Fun little local bar. Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from. Went 2 out of the 3 nights we were there for a couple drinks and had no issues at all.
COLD beer & great shrimp
Was staying at the EconoLodge so decided to stop in for a drink to relax and spin down after a busy day. Not the greatest place. Very small and not a huge selection of really anything. Bartender was nice and did a good job. IMHO thought it was a little expensive. Probably would not go back.

My wife and I wanted oysters and watch the game close to hotel. We walk in and with hardly anyone there we ask "are you open?". We get first rude remark. "The lights are on ain't they!". We ignore and meander back and happily state we want to see the game and eat. We find a seat at a small bar space for 5 with a view of the TVs. As soon as we get seated the woman behind the bar asks if we have others joining us. We reply "no". She rudely replies "then you'll have to find another seat". We ask "then where?" and she again rudely directs us to the back. We calmly got up and I said we would look down the street. She stated for her handful of patrons to hear "I love pi****g people off". She kept her show alive as we walked down the outside ramp. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!This was the absolute worst service we have ever had! The old woman that claimed to be the owner was a disgusting human being. She was foul mouthed and tried over charging us for a $200 bill! When we tried to kindly explain, she became irate! She then printed off someone else’s receipt and tried to give that one to us which included food on it that we did not get! We did not even have food there (thankfully because judging from other reviews it is terrible too)! She made threatening comments and went literally crazy on us! I will never be back and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! She must be a scam artist. Very unprofessional, extremely rude! If anyone does decide to try to this place, be very cautious and have evidence of EVERY single thing you get.Show less
