Love this place and the guy playing the guitar with the beard and hair… amazing talent. I think his name’s Luke and I think he got my grandmother pregnant just by looking at her. Can’t wait to come back for more of that. Bringing my great aunt next time.
Fun musicians and staff, yummy appetizers, and cold beer. We were in town last week, and came in Wednesday about 7pm. We had such a great time, so we came back in Thursday for more of the same. Musicians both nights were very entertaining, and took requests.
I truly appreciate any bar that supports live music. Our souls and our hips need more live music. Hearing a good song brings folks together, makes you feel like you belong and have something in common with a total stranger. Music is a great equalizer and musicians like Big Luke can make anyone's day better. His voice and connection with the audience are truly craveable! Thank you Puckers for giving such talented artists a place to share their shine with us!!!!
We entered Puckers via the back door. Purely by chance - we didn’t know where we were going and an employee in the back throwing out trash said we could go in that way. We are not from here, tourists in a tourist town. As soon as we walked in the woman behind the bar yelled at us that we couldn’t enter that way, we did something illegal and we were on camera doing it. What??? Then she said she’d still take our money but we shouldn’t have come in that way. Getting chastised in front of an entire bar is not my idea of a good time. We left. Won’t go back. Have since heard bad things about the place.
Food is good. However, the cook literally makes on dish at a time. Who I assume are the managers sat at a back booth vaping and generally not giving a care in the world. We waited over an hour to receive our food one plate at a time.
We just visited Gatlinburg for a golf trip and unfortunately got rained out one day so we were forced into walking around and checking out the local shops when we stumbled across this little hole in the wall bar. But it was anything but that! We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the Tennessee Snapper, aka the GM. She was a hoot and made the whole experience incredibly memorable. So much so that we decided to go back there on our last night and there she was again! We didn’t eat too much either time because it being vacation we were on a mission, but we did try the flatbread pizza and gator bites and they were awesome! They have dart boards, pool tables and a jukebox as well. In terms of atmosphere, you can’t find a better one in Gatlinburg. And you better get there quick because the next time you see the Tennessee Snapper, it might just be on America’s Got Talent. She is one of the funniest people I’ve ever met and is destined to win that show with her unique voice. 10/10 would recommend.
The only pace we planned to eat tonight was closed. Puckers is near where we were staying and after checking the menu decided to do a to-go order. We were quite pleased with the food even on a to-go order. Everything tasted great and was freshly made. The wings are fabulous. The server that got the order for us was so friendly, wish I knew her name to give her a shout-out. Will be a place we eat at when in Gatlinburg.
Des at the bar took tremendous care of us. Great on recommendations and a fun presence. Lots of fun.
The bartender Carleena really just mage our trip! We stopped in to puckers just to have a quick beer and get out of the rain but ended up staying most of the afternoon! She was funny, attentive and made us a great drink we've never had before. If you're smart you'll stop in and have her make you a Scooby doo snack. Thanks Carlena! Can't wait to see you on our next trip to Gatlinburg!
Great service. Desiree made our experience here great. She let us know all of the great restaurants in the area, drinks were great, sample platter was amazing. Yes there is fairly loud music but that doesn’t dampen the mood that the staff puts off.
