Kilwin's had everything from fudge to ice cream. The customer service was good. We visited during a busy time of year but they worked hard at serving everyone in a timely fashion.
HUGE thank you to Bryan for taking the time to make sure my husband ice cream was safe. He is a celiac and it is extremely hard to find scooped ice cream that's not been crossed...Bryan got a fresh container of ice cream out, clean scoop and even went and got a spoon that wasn't out with the rest. Absolutely above and beyond and we greatly appreciate it!!
It's a nice shop with options to choose from like fudge, ice cream, candies etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer free samples for fudge. We tried waffle cone with scoop of cookies and cream ice cream and loved it.We are not a big fan of fudge as we find it too sweet and found it consistent here too.
This is a cute little candy/ice cream shop. Not super big inside and definitely over priced. The candy we got was really good though. The ice cream looked and smelled good, but we didn’t get any this time.
Smells so good walking past we had to stop. The peach ice cream is amazing!!! We'll be back to try more flavors and buy some fudge.
The person behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. The regular ole chocolate fudge was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. So creamy and chocolatey. The peanut butter fudge was a bit too crumbly for my taste, but my honey loved it, and the salted caramel one was really, really good, but also very very salty.
We decided to walk around the hub of Gatlinburg, and we kept seeing people with ice cream. We saw that Kilwin's had ice cream, so we stepped in to order some. I got the waffle cone with a scoop of lemon sorbet and a scoop of raspberry sorbet. Husband got a small cup of two berry pie ice cream. We went back out on the sidewalk and sat on one of the many benches they have lining the sidewalk and did some people watching while we ate our treats. He enjoyed his, as did I. I preferred the lemon over the raspberry. I should add that they have many sweets other than ice cream, but that was the only thing we went in to get, so we didn't look around. So, the next night, I got lemon only. He got a small cup of vanilla and Georgia Peach ice cream, and we did some more sitting and people watching. VERY pricey! $19
We love Kilwin's ice cream! The homemade waffle cones and bowls are delicious! We go several times while we are in Gatlinburg. They also have fudge, caramel apples, etc. Great place!
I really wanted to eat Gelato or something simiar when the reviews brought me to this place. The ice cream was really good and creamy. Not like Italian gelato but way better than the baskin robins. You can try a flavor before buying it. I've got one scoop and it was a really generous serving. Thoroughly enjoyed.
