The wait was a bit long for two people. 35 minutes. It was Saturday so I guess he would expect it here in Gatlinburg. The ambience is pretty cool. My disappointment was with the peach tea whiskey. It tasted really good but I honestly don’t think there was any alcohol in there lol. My wife’s meal was very good. I had the Appalachian chicken which had to have been setting under a heat lamp the last five hours it was so small and dried out– I felt embarrassed for them. The potato wasn’t much to ride home about. The salad was pretty good.
First off, the view from our table was a quaint babbling brook! Beautiful! Second, our waiter John was awesome, very attentive, quick with drinks. Food came out quickly. One of sides was a house salad (i did double salad as my 2 sides), my salad was huge! John said the italian dressing was spicy, he wasnt joking! Made my nose run but it was amazing! I had the memphis ribs which were done to perfection with dry rub and the side of bbq sauce was perfect. Hubs had Nashville Prime Rib which he said was fabulous, its was huge! Def recommend this restaurant and we will be stopping in again this week while on vacayUpdate! We've eaten here 2 more times this week! Josh was our water the second time and was fantastic! The blackberry vinegrette was awesome, we both had ribs which were even better than the first night! Top notch restaurant! The third night i tried the smoked chicken and hubs had shrump. The wisconsin cheese curds were so delicious!
This is a hidden gem in Gatlinburg. The restaurant has amazing food and service! Our ribs were falling off the bone with superb flavor. Even the salad had fresh ingredients with homemade ranch. Our table was by the river. Water runs off the roof giving the effect of sitting under a waterfall.
Crystelle Creek had good food and good service. Nice casual restaurant on a creek with easy parking. The filet and the chicken alfredo pasta were very good.
We went for lunch. We asked to be seated away from people due to our concern for Covid. We were promptly told, “If you are scared of Covid you should wear a mask”. We wear masks but did not have one at that time. I felt the hostess was rude so we left to find another place to eat.
we ordered the Chicken Parmesan and the burger and both were well presented, huge portions and tasted fine. Staff was sparse but tried to do a good job overall. Liquor, food and wine all have different taxes... interesting!
Amazing place to eat. The food was spectacular and the staff are among the best. I highly recommend talking the time and enjoy a meal if you’re in town. It’s All About the Adventures. Consider liking my review and pictures and follow along on all my adventures.
Beautiful location. Grounds were nicely kept. The inside was fairly nice. The area we sat in has buckets around to catch water leaking in from a rain storm. The bar looked cool the way it was lighted. My husband and son got steaks. The meat was perfectly cooked to their desired doneness, but they were lacking seasoning. I got the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo. It was very good. Everything was hot and fresh. The house made blackberry vinegarette was very good. Cheese curds were ok. Pretty expensive.
We had a great meal of salmon for her and sirloin steak for him, and both were super good, as well the appetizer of garlic sticks, baked potatoes and salads. Chris, our server, was excellent! The homemade blackberry vinaigrette salad dressing was delicious! Chris was busy but brought us everything we asked for, as well as brought drink refills several times, and was just the perfect server. It was a great experience!
Cool rustic setting. I loved how the water came off the roof. It was like sitting inside a fountain. There was no staff shortage. Staff were friendly and helped each other out.Although the menu isn't large, chef accommodated my vegetarian diet.I got the deep fried mushrooms as an appetizer. They were delicious. They also make their own dressings.Highly recommend.
