Bad tasting over charges based on what listed. There're cheaters.The the fries was so oily, burned and very salty.I've been charged $9.98 for two large fries where the menu says $3.69.There was no where to sit inside. Outside there was a lot Cockroaches. Disgusting.Please stay away. I just threw over $40!
Been to Gatlinburg several times and this is the worst food I’ve had here. 0 out of 10 do not recommend. The chicken was nasty and lukewarm, fish basket tasted like frozen fish from a box. I ate it because I was starving, but my brother literally couldn’t eat it, was so gross.
Really small and out of the mainstream but the service is friendly and genuine. Paper lined baskets for your food, two tables inside and one outside. Order at counter, pickup at counter, clear your own table and say "That was good!" Not a five-star dining establishment but it is a very affordable alternative to the fancier eateries. I was here two years ago and made a point to return this year. Just like the last time we visited here, we told the three person staff that they were the best deal in town. We hope it made their day.
We were in Gatlinburg over spring break. We were walking the strip and hungry. I wanted something quick. I popped into the chicken shack and was planning on getting wings. I asked what was really good and unique. I was told I should get the chicken philly. She described it but I was not really thinking it sounded like what I was looking for. We talked and I decided to get it upon recommendation. It was way beyond what I was expecting. The chicken had lots of flavor and there was enough cheese to make me happy. It was unique. It was flavorful and it made for a fabulous lunch. I liked it so much I went back again for another one the next day. Sometimes you really do have to trust what they recommend. I would never have ordered it.
Service was great. Friendly staff and helpful on suggestions on what to eat. Wings were good, my philly chicken had good flavor but the hoagie roll was a bit dry and could use improvement. I'd recommend going here for a quick bite of food, especially since other places close and hour earlier.
Don't waste your money.I ordered a hotdog combo, that was way over priced, with soggy fries and a drink. The wait alone for the food was enough to just ask for a refund, (felt like my order was not even started).I would have been better off just throwing away my money,. When I went to throw it into the trash bin it fell out of it's container and bag onto the ground proving to me that the trash bin didn't even want it.Only go there if you want to over pay for low quality over priced food and want to throw away about twenty bucks.
We came to Gatlingburg in 2020 as a weekend getaway from Florida during the pandemic. We wanted something whole full and quick without having to wait much.We were sooooo pleased with the service and food that we came again for valentines weekend and came once again to our favorite spot.Food was cooked quick and we were greeted with courtesy and respect.100% recommend if you still love quick hot food
Do not waste your money at this place. The fries were completely raw, we ended up just throwing them away. The chicken tenders were mediocre at best. Even the soft drinks tasted awful. I rarely leave reviews but this place was so bad I felt it was needed.
The place is VERY small. The lines were out the door, which is expected in Gatlinberg. What is not expected is for the loud man at the counter to yell at patrons to shut the door. The menu is not detailed at all, so when you get to the counter you have to ask questions, which would be fine if the afore mentioned man was open to answering them. He was gruff with his response, and said his short clipped responses with a "you should already know this" tone. They shout out your order number when it is ready... in order to hear this number, you must be inside the tiny "dining area" (there are 2 picnic style tables with benches) but so many people are waiting and the door has to remain closed so you can't wait out side for your food....we had 5 people in our group who were waiting for their food. When they started calling numbers, one of our girls order was seemingly missed, so we went to the counter to ask if it was forgotten (they were 10 numbers past this order now) and we were completely ignored. COMPLETELY, we asked several times to the order taking grouchy man, as well as the girl yelling out order numbers!! After about 20 mins of being ignored, the girl finally acknowledges we have a legitimate issue, and yes, our order did, in fact get forgotten. They have signs everywhere saying "no refunds", which is great accept if you never get your food!! We finally got the order. The fries were nasty, soggy, and so oily. The color brown they were was also concerning. In my opinion the food was not worth the hour wait to get, and the service was sub par.
I go here for lunch several days a week. Philly cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak are excellent. BBQ sandwich is good too. Their fries rank among the best I’ve ever eaten. A hidden gem in Gatlinburg.
