Yo... I am a man that enjoys sandwiches a lot. This place rocked my taste buds! The place got busy fast, but the food was put together and provided in a good time. I was a little overwhelmed on the sauces and how to order, I asked for any suggestions and all I got was a nod...haha. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot!
The chicken was tasty, the pickle chips left something to be desired. I really like the Nashville Hot Honey sauce. But the Buffalo sauce wasn't that great. I want crazy about the Special sauce for my chicken either. It would be good for me fries though. I liked that there were so many choices of success to try. I would like it if there was Chicken Guy in Knoxville. I would come back again.
Great restaurant, wish dining area was a bit bigger but good size for Gatlinburg. Line was long, all the way to door when we passed by to park but once we got there about 10 min later there was no line! That speaks volumes. My Mom and I both got grilled chicken strip meals and tried different sauces. Got an oreo shake and it did not disappoint! Loved the atmosphere. Will be back!
This place is worth the hype. Great chicken tenders and an awesome selection of sauces. Try the curry Mayo and the teriyaki. I definitely recommend stopping in. If the line is long, don’t worry as it goes decently quick.
Went on what seemed the most busiest day ever in Gatlinburg, door was out the door but moved very quickly. The fries were good. The chicken was good but almost sealed like it needed a tad bit of seasoning. But I’d eat again but maybe not come on a busy time. Lady cleaning dining area was very friendly and helpful. It’s good and comparable to other chicken places. Not my top but is close. The garlic sauce was the bomb! My wife liked the donkey sauce. I think next time I may use the mobile / online ordering. Oh yea the chicken planks are good sized!
After watching the recent show on Food Network my girlfriend and I were excited to try Chicken Guy. The ordering process went well but it took 10 minutes to get our food. The food was good but I don't think it was Guy quality. The chicken was okay but was not packed with enough breading and didn't have the crunch that UT should have. I will say that the sauces I tried were on point. I understand everyone can have an off day so I will give it another try.
I thought it was gonna be a bad first trip. In line to get my drink and two employees push their way by 3 people so they could get a drink. After that everything went good we ended up trying 9 or 10 sauces all of them was good. Even tho we got the sauces the chicken tenders and fries really doesn't need any they are good without sauce.
Service was quick and good. Chicken was great and loved the seasoned fries. The ranch is also delicious. I got a chicken salad. It was basic but I will say the chicken in it was good. Not your average weird rubbery tasting grilled chicken like normal fast food places.
I loved everything about this restaurant! I wanted to try all of the sauces but I tried the avocado and spicy mayo and wasn’t disappointed! Their macaroni is delicious but their chicken tenders are AMAZZZZING and have such a unique flavor. Definitely not your standard chicken tender!
If I had any complaints at all, the fried pickles could have been fresher and they seemed a bit overdone. That being said, the flavor was unbeatable! The chicken tenders on the sandwich were a bit bland, but I added a little fry seasoning and that Southwest Sandwich really took off! The fast food look is the perfect disguise for a wonderful dine in experience and the friendliest staff around.
