Good food and nice price. Great place to go especially if you're a Forest Gump movie fan. The staff doesn't ask the trivia questions anymore sadly. And they don't put the shrimp in the large paper cones. But it's still a great place to visit and see movie memorabilia.
Little bit of a wait to be seated, but worth it. I’m a meat & potato guy, but decided on shrimp with butter & garlic sauce. Best shrimp I’ve had. The shrimp are deveined and easy to remove shells. Wife ate gumbo. She loved it.
To start the waitress was horrible. She brought my husband a alcoholic drink when he stated he can't drink. Then she told us we could get this kind if shrimp & this kind & how many of each & then when we went to order she changed her story. I have never had such horrible service in my life. The only good part is the lava flow & food was delicious thank god..
My grandson & I had the shrimp &nacho sampler$23.99 ,you got 4 piece's of shrimp,4 hush puppies, 6pieces of chicken nuggets,nacho chips , spinach dip,2 small sauces,1 cocktail shrimp dip , bourbon dip ....Shrimp was ok, chicken nuggets were very dry,hush puppies were aweful,had corn & fish in them,nacho chips were stale.. bourbon dip was strong u couldn't eat it on anything, best thing was their spinach dip was very good ,but I would not eat there again ! I don't recommend
Our first time ever eating at a Bubba Gumps! Our waiter was pleasant, fun and knowledgeable. Our order came out fast, hot and very good! Enjoyed our visit!
Food was tasty (especially the Gumbo soup) but the floor was sticky and it took forever (and it was an early lunch so it wasn't exactly busy) to remove an item from the bill. Still, wait staff (Jenn) was cool. The movie is now dated for many visitors so the concept for the younger crowd is likely irrelevant.
Always a memorable dining experience. I wanted something lite with a low calorie count. Mama Blue's gumbo and a side of shrimp skewer complimented with a glass of Chardonnay was just right.
An Okay Experience.. Some folks do not need trivia, so they should ask B4 they assume and interupt our Dining Experience... Then the Food was Okay..... JUST OKAY . . . But, the Bill is not Okay... They Price as fine dining but in our opinion = Fall far short of that.... I might can only say - Shoney's here we come :-P
Another tourist trap. Food was ok. I'd rather have ate somewhere else. Coconut shrimp was falling apart and I could hear the staff complaining from where we were seated.
Highly recommend, food was good and plentiful, and the service was great. The food is reasonably priced.
