Got 3 pork and cheese pupusas and they were delicious! Just as good as I was given homemade in Houston. Can't wait to come back and try some new stuff.
Great, great tacos!! Down and dirty in the best way. The sort of great cooking that you wish you could find in a local taqueria said a chef from San Francisco (me). Earthy cooking with depth only begins to describe these entirely pork centric treats. I’m going to crave this place for some time.
Excellent tacos! We had the vegan tacos as we’re vegetarian and they were really tasty. So good we went for lunch there twice.
We stopped in for a quick bite for dinner. Although the taqueria is small without much seating, they do have take out. Tacos were very good and they offer vegetarian types as well.
I had the absolute BEST pupusas I have ever had in my life today and will definitely be back and recommend them to everyone!
It’s brightly lite, no atmosphere and the service borders on unfriendly but many say these are the best tacos in Merida. Limited menu of tacos with your choice of meats or vegetarian. Get a beer, get a plate of tacos and you will leave happy!
Despite it being empty, the guide book was spot on. Taqueria de la unión were some of the best tacos we’ve had in Mexico. And so cheap. Can’t recommend enough!
Waiters barely speak or understand English. Therefore when they get your order wrong you're still expected to pay full price and more. My order was brought out without the shrimp it was supposed to have. When I told them they brought the shrimp out separate. Then charged me for 2 orders. Bad business. Cartel.
