Sunday morning breakfast: busy but no wait, some communal tables. Place is simple, slightly fun down in places but overall neat and tidy. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Only complaint was we waiting 30-40 min for food. But when it came it was delicious. Biscuits were really yummy, eggs properly cooked and not too greasy. French toast and pancakes were very solid. So had to take a star for the wait, but that’s probably pandemic staffing issues. Overall yummy food at simple, cute diner!

Great little place, the food is classic meat and three. Decent salad bar. Dishes are priced inexpensive. Definitely a local favorite. Down side cash and check only no credit cards. I wish they would change it. Many times I wanted to go but didn't have cash. I would pay an extra charge to use a credit card
Good ole family diner ... but no one is wearing a mask... so if you are concerned about covid exposure or you have health conditions this might not be the best place to eat inside. But you can probably call and get take out. They do not accept credit cards, only cash or check. Food and service were both good enough
I’ve been taking my family here for 8 years bc the food has always been so good! After seeing my friends daughter had 3 roaches in her syrup today, I’m done. I’m done bc of this and the fact the place is so run down it stinks and is sticky with grease. I noticed black mold around the vents last time we came to eat. The walls are horrible with crooked pictures, food splatters and grease film. The waitresses are always nice and the food is good, but I just can’t eat in a roach infested dog house again. Make a move Mables, get a new spot and your customers will come back! Sorry, being honest! Yuck!
I always enjoy eating at Mables, their staff is always a pleasure, no matter how busy they are. The food is always fresh and their prices can't be beat. Shop Local - Eat Local!!
