Cracker barrel is one of those stores and restaurants that has continued to be nostalgic and consistent throughout the years. Breakfast for all four of us was good. I definitely love their hash brown casserole. The store section of Cracker Barrel is always so much fun to go through and see things as a blast from the past, like the candies or old packaging on items. They've done a good job adding in newer age items. Overall, I always enjoy a visit to Cracker Barrel! Be sure to try the chicken and dumplings ☺️
Trey was a great server which is why I gave one star. We ordered pancakes, bacon, biscuits and gravy, hash Browns, and one mimosa each. They brought our food out almost 40 minutes after we ordered my wife's food was cold, they brought no gravy for my biscuits and gravy, they left my food (sorry when you order biscuits how do you eat your food without one of the main ingredients). We then waited another 20 minutes and no food. We went in to pay for our mimosas, which BTW we could have easily left and not even done that because we sat outside and when the cashier had the manager, or whoever she was, come up her response was "if they don't want the food just take it off." No apology, no acknowledgment, no nothing! Unfortunately we will not be going there again!!! BTW went down the street to waffle house no problems, the food was hot and we were outta there in more than half the time it took at cracker barrel!
Gotta take away some stars because the food is gd but curbside service is questionable & lacking. It's becoming the norm to think something is gona go wrong because it DOES..all the way from leaving off food items, no silverware,no drinks, longer wait on top of the 21 min. & it's always someone left early for an excuse when they just flat out forgot! But How tho?? They are at work?? The times I was forgotten about the parking lot was not full at all but they claim to be so busy. I get it however forgetting about orders is unacceptable. I mean do some of them forget they even have curbside ordering?? Hopefully they get some ppl on there that has a wide attention span to keep up. I also ordered a peach cobbler with ice cream and they just brought peach cobbler.....
Food tasted great, portions were small. Waitress was nice but could be a little better at asking customers if anything else is needed or explaining why only sugar free jelly was brought out. I love the carrots & I only got about 5, seriously?
If you're scheduling a pick up or to go order DONT. I waited over an hour and 10 mins, checked in on the link 2 to 3 times, calling in 3 times to let them know i was there, I still never got my food. There was a another car that pulled up 20 mins after I did, and after about 30 mins of waiting they left with no food. I finally decided to leave because at that point the food is soggy, cold, and no longer what i paid for. I understand staffing is a problem everywhere right now, but that's ridiculous.
It's was.... eh.... I think this is a place to go if you're afraid of flavor and spices. I really wanted to embrace my inner redneck.... after eating here though... I'm pretty sure none of yall eat there..
The food is good but the orders are inconsistent and the staff ALWAYS forgets something. Usually we do pickup, so we can check the order in the car, but the last 2 times we did delivery through the cracker barrel app. Both times they forgot to add sawmill gravy to the country fried chicken. I called to complain and the manager actually offered to credit my account with free gravy for our next order... It isn't really free if I PAID for the meal it comes with. The manager clearly has no power to fix it and offered no solution other than us driving there to pick it up, which defeats the purpose of us paying delivery fees. Don't support their delivery service. The only reason I still gave 3 stars is because the food is always good.
Went for breakfast but ended up being brunch. I guess it's just a sign of the times. They said 30 minute wait wound up about 45. Took over 30 minutes to get our food. Food just average, bacon under cooked after asking for crisp , some ordered scrambled eggs with cheese came out looking like the spread a half can of cheese wiz on them. Seems you just can't get a good meal any more.
I love Cracker Barrel, but it will be a long time before I order food from this location again. There was a large piece of plastic in my food!!
The server took our drink order and later he took our food order. After he took the food order he never returned to the table. A different server brought the food and left. No one else came by to ask if we needed anything. I had to wavedown the manager just to get our check. The food was good but the service was unacceptable.
