Phenomenal tasting treats! Parking is a little tight but lots of restaurants in this small shopping space make it enjoyable to walk.
I wasn't sure what frozen custard was... I can tell you that it is good and perfect for an after dinner treat. I had the Simply Southern one scoop sundae. It had pecans, hot caramel, and hot fudge drizzled on top. The do offer drive through service. I walked in since I was unfamiliar with the menu. There were a few folks in front of me, but the line moved fast. I look forward to stopping by again when I'm in Franklin, TN.
This is your average custard location. Staff is friendly and able to answer your questions. Three basic flavors: chocolate vanilla and flavor of the week. Just check the website before you go to make sure you will be happy. Kids got a kids cone with chocolate custard and root beer float. Cost at this location is high with two items running me ten bucks but the kids were happy. We got a half and half one scoop with rainbow sprinkles to go but very light handed on the sprinkles. Hate to say a little cheap on their end after the price I just paid.Not sure honestly if we will come back nor would I recommend this place to my friends. Time will tell and I will update if we come again.
Creamy goodness in a little cup. Oh my heart! I got a mud pie and could have had that in a large, even though I don't NEED it. It was a nice treat after a busy work week. A+++ I'll definitely be back when I will allow myself another treat week.
Amazing place! Only issue is that now whenever we have frozen custard or ice cream anywhere else, we are let down. ?
We ordered several items. One of which had gummy worms-on it - a few of which fell to the floor. We asked for replacement of basically 2 gummy worms. “Sure but we need to charge you” was the extremely rude response from the young girl with no respect .” We need to pay for those”. We get it . But really buying in bulk- then over charging twice is worth the price of us not ever returning? Good for you!!! Business is great.! You don’t need ours.! Really 2 stinking Gummy Worms.!
Got some cake and custard from Whit's today. Purchased a chocolate thunder custard cake and some brownie bite custard. Very delicious and rich. A bit pricey but high quality and great for a special occasion, which it was. The store is a cozy walk up akin to a Baskin Robin but custard. The staff were busy with the drive thru when I got there but took care of me quickly and were polite. Parking is tough. Not much of it and the angles are weird so it's tough to get in and out. But overall, good experience and great product. Worth it and no issues going back.
I went into this establishment the other day 01/18/22 and I got a mini speciality custard and as I left a tip because of the kind and hardworking employee that took my order, the manager on duty proceeded to make rude comments, insulting my humble donation. This was very uncalled for and regret leaving at all. Customers should not be spoken to like this, I will come back with the hope she isn’t working.
First time to Whit's Frozen Custard. My wife and I will definitely be back. We had a chocolate shake that was more than shareable!!
A nice after dinner treat. A unique space. Great atmosphere. My only disappointment was the lack of variety. They offer mainly chocolate and vanilla and flavor of the week. You can get different toppings. The taste and consistency was good. I would return. I was just expecting more variety. The employees were super.
