Took a day trip with friends and a dog to Franklin. After walking around the area with the temperature climbing past 90° we found this place with outdoor seating to accommodate the dog. We were warmly greeted and our group of 5 including a border collie got seated indoors in their air conditioned Billard room. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our food. We recommend this location with or without a dog.
We all had their hamburgers. We each had a different kind. Great burgers and love the homemade kettle chips. We had great service as well! Good experience.
was told this place rocks by a friend. went in asked for a regular table and was told to seat myself. after 10 minutes of watching 2 "bartenders" ignore us waiting to place our order, my mother and I proceeded to leave. if it hadn't been for the new guy, Bob, this would have been 1 star. for a business with pig in its name, there is zero BBQ meals on the menu. only burgers and limited number of other entrees. it's going to take a lot of consideration to come back.
This is an awesome place because it's been around for decades. It's a Pub and Eatery with upstairs having tv's & Pool tables and a bar for eating and hanging out. Also have tables and games outside deck with free live entertainment for families to enjoy. The basement pub has live entertainment after 6pm and Fun atmosphere for everyone. When I was single and lived in Franklin, this was the place, more upper class of peeps and nice respectable patrons. Went back for anniversary and great memories. The staff is very polite and is informative. The food has always been delicious??Love the Sheperds pie and Fish & Chips. You can dress casual or come after work clothes. I would like to make a suggestion regarding the wall's that need some pizzazz. Since Franklin is a big Music and Arts area, it would be nice to see a lot of local talented Artist's creations on the walls while enjoying drinks and meals. Colorful, Wonderful eye catching conversation pieces. Music pieces that add to decor. Make it Fun or Sporty. ?????⚽??
Just completed a tour of Lotz House and they gave us a coupon for a discount. Had the Mac n cheese, so good, large enough to share, Also had bologna wedges, great experience.
I miss Donny and Haley but thankfully there's still Trevor. Good workers are hard to find these days and I hate that this place is becoming somewhere we are less inclined to go to. Good food and great atmosphere but way too many sub-par punk waitstaff that look like they crawled out of bed and act like you're a burden to them even when you're only one of the few that are there.
We thought we found a hidden gem but it turned out to be a real dud!! On vacation and staying at a local hotel, I found this restaurant on Google. With an over 4 star average review rating, we decided to give it a try for some green beer and some corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s Day. The initial appearance upon walking up looked promising. We sat outside at a table and then everything went downhill after that. We sat there and waited and waited for someone to at least greet us and take our drink order. The waiters would look in our direction and then walk away. Finally a waiter came over and took our order. He wasn’t particularly friendly and looked like he was afraid to speak to us. After finally bringing our first round of drinks, he forgot one of our drinks and spilled a couple as he was putting them on the table. We continued to wait and after several more “waits” we finally got our appetizers and main dishes. The corned beef and cabbage was the worst attempt I’d ever seen. Cold and missing items. Then another main entree was given to the wrong table, so more waiting. Thankfully what they ended up bringing out was hot and tasted ok. The waiter at one point did apologize and blamed our poor experience on staffing issues. We watched other guests finally get fed up with the poor service while we were there and left as well. Needless to say, we won’t be going there the next time we’re in Franklin.
Food was excellent, our server, (private p) was even better. The Monte Cristo was amazing! Do stop by and give this hidden gem a visit. You will be glad you did.
