This place looks nice when you pull up and walk inside.We had two orders of the double bone-in pork chop. Our sides were the smoked gouda shells and cheese, broccoli, potatoes au gratin, and green beans.The menu stated "Smoke Gouda Mac & Cheese", if it's important to you, the pasta is not macaroni. It is shells. The broccoli was of three gigantic portions!If you are interested in trying them, here are some photos of our food mentioned above...
Hands down one of the BEST special occasion restaurants ever! I try to frequent when I can, but tonight, they hit it out of the park. 10 oz center cut fillet cooked to perfection and the potatoes au gratin were great. If you are in the Cool Springs area, you NEED to stop in. FANTASTIC customer service as well. We WILL be back!! Thank you Stoney River for a wonderful experience!!
It was my husband's birthday so I thought we would come here. It was our first time. I had heard great things from some friends that love it here. It wasn't the best place I have had. But it could have been the food ordered. I had the steak biscuits. My husband had the chicken. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Excellent eaterie. I had the salmon dish that was excellent. Our group of six were promptly seated and seemingly doted on by the staff. Water was refilled, empty plates removed, and entrees followed our soups and salads before we could even think to ask. Excellent service. Except for the fact that we are passing through this area to return to our home in CT, we would definitely come here again. Keep up the great work.
Can you ever go wrong with Stoney River?Their drinks are always dependable.The steaks are great, the sides are fantastic.They actually know how to cook a steak so order exactly how you would like it done because you will get it exactly how you asked for it. This is a great tip because I typically understate how I would like it prepared because so many places overcook it as their norm. You don't have to do that here.
We had a 10 minute wait past our reservation time but the server was very attentive. Hubby loved his steak and mashed potatoes, however don’t get the salmon. It smelled and tasted very fishy. I should have sent it back after only eating a few bites but didn’t. Next time I’ll stick to steak or chicken.
We visited during a trip to Nashville. We had reservations so our wait was only about 5 mins. The complimentary bread basket was the best I've had! Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the desserts.
Food is always amazing and service is always wonderful! Never a bad experience at any Stoney River for us =)I always get the wedge salad and coffee cured filet, SOOOOO GOOD! My hubby is a huge fan of the lobster bisque which is fab as well!DESSERT NOTE: If u go with multiple people and decide you want dessert, they are HUGE and easily able to share. One dessert can feed four people, no problem!KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SR!
This was the best experience I've had in a long time! Our server was super nice and the food was the absolute best! The steak melted in my mouth. I thought it was very sweet they gave us an anniversary card signed by all the staff too!
Had an amazing meal for our 16th anniversary 12/31/2021. The waitress was super sweet and helpful. The food was delicious - steaks did come out medium rare to rare instead of medium but still very tasty. The carrot cake was so delish. This photo is only half of the slice we got. It was HUGE!!
