The food was very good and the service was quick. Staff seemed experienced and efficient. Store was clean. Mens restrooms was clean but is showing some wear.
We ordered via the drive-thru a few weeks ago. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries and were so hungry after driving for 15 hours from MN. What a huge disappointment! My burger was ice cold. Not just lukewarm but COLD. Also, it was about half a burger patty. It was actually disgusting. Love Steak 'n Shake but this stop was terrible.

The food is consistently good. My order was exactly what I input on the order screen. The staff at this location is very friendly, even going so far as to help another guest with kids get their order to their table. Just a little thing, but the guest looked like they needed a hand and they jumped in and helped. Verry classy.
I ask for the person behind the to check the coke zero it taste of diet coke please change it . Nothing was done tells me get a other soda that's why I bought the soda cup to drink coke zero I'm diabetic . But the hell with the customer . I never buy again for this store.
At 3:23 today we stopped at the Franklin, TN location and ordered 8 cheeseburgers Ticket# 40141. Service was good but when opening the burgers they were found to be cold, very cold, as though they had been sitting around for a while which was further evidenced by the cheese being totally cold having no indication of having been anywhere near heat from a burger patty. Both disappointing and totally out of character from earlier experiences at this location.
Changes from covid are good because you place your order from the kiosk then pay and get your ticket. Never crowded anymore and food is usually fresh and good.
I loved it! It had great food and great service. I also went to one in Alabama and the one in Alabama was no where as good as the one in Franklin, Tennessee. The manager works with his employees and actually hands out the food to customers. It was an overall great experience and I recommend it to anyone that is passing through Franklin on I-65.
Completely rude staff on 12/28/2021 at 8pm. I have a severe leg injury from work and parked my car to eat inside and was limping to their door unaware that they close their lobby early (no signs posted) and an employee was just watching me limp all the way to the door without signaling to me that their lobby was closed. Then after getting back in my car, the lady working the drive thru was rude and impatient. Some of the worst staff I’ve ever experienced at a Steak n Shake. Definitely won’t be coming back here.
