If there were less than 1 star, I would have selected it. I did witness Lady Macbeth, as another review stated. I contemplated leaving a review at all, since everything else was so positive, and maybe everyone can have a bad night. Then I saw others have been treated the same way by Anthony, and figured it must not have been a bad night, just a bad attitude by one person bringing down this wonderful establishment. If I’m back through town, I am certain I will get better service from the bar at Shoney’s.
It's amazing how one individual can pilfer the charm and nostalgia from an evening. Anthony quickly revealed himself a diabolical maitre d' that reminded me of how Lady Macbeth was truly revealed in her sleep walking scene. William Shakespeare has the best representation of such treacherous females. Still today, his work is most known for differing views and interpretation. Not thrilled with the bartenders this past weekend. Asked for Eagle rare, watched her pour regular Eagle Rare then charged me for some limited edition BS. Didn’t have the normal selection they had last time I visited.Rap music was playing, bartenders were rude, and no attentiveness from female bartenders at all. I gladly paid the bill but won’t return until you get your old bartenders back….the ones who know how make craft cocktails.

This place is great! Best selection of top shelf spirits I’ve come across in a long time, Troy the bartender is a genuine treasure. Can’t be beat!
I want to give this place a terrible review just to drive people away and keep this under the radar but honestly this is one of my favorite places to go in Franklin as long as you like whiskey. There is very limited seating so you have to get there very early if you want a seat. It has a smaller food menu but everything I have had is great. They have very talented bartenders that make some fantastic cocktails and they have also created some of their own creations that are worth trying. They have a huge whiskey collection with decent prices. If you are a whiskey lover you should try OBJ at least once.
Good drinks. Surprised by how good the food was. Fun staff. Small spot that feels good to pull up a Stool at. What more can you ask for in a little local bar.

High end bourbon and whiskey that isn’t offered at a lot of other bars. Our group had a good time taste testing here. We didn’t try any food.
