Service was average but the food was outstanding. My club sandwich was delicious as was my raspberry scone. My wife's meal was tasty as well. Her sugar cookie was great. All the cookies and pastries are mouth watering and choosing just one was difficult. They are know for their baked goods and we could understand why. If you want to get a meal elsewhere, do, but definitely stop here for your dessert. Parking is very convenient as there is a free covered parking deck across the street.
We had lunch at Meridees. The rueben sandwich was very good. My husband had the chicken pot pie and he said it was okay but a little too salty for his taste. They had very nice desserts and pastries and they looked delicious! Next time we will try breakfast there.
Love Meridee's!!! This bakery/restaurant is awesome to order and eat in their dine area or ordered and have it packaged for a picnic at any of the local parks. We ordered breakfast, but we each got a pastry. The meal lasted us until supper time. So good we highly recommend you try Meridee's.
Loved the old-fashioned quaint restaurant with delicious baked goodies. Salad platter was very fresh and tasty. Loved the southern atmosphere.
We went to Merridee's for lunch. It was okay. My Chicken Salad sandwich fell apart before I could get it to my mouth. My husband ordered Pot Pie. He said it was good, but not filling. Everyone raves about the pastries, which we did not order. Maybe we should of eaten a pastry! They only give you a small plastic cup for your drink. After everything the bill was over $40.00. The atmosphere was great!
Cute little spot off the square. It’s a little pricey for what you get but that is to be expected here. Service was fast. Lots of baked goods that looked so good. We would come back
Had a giant spinach salad with tons of goodies and grilled chicken; so large. Nice room with lots of seating and nicest folks. Really the right choice for lunch in Franklin. Make sure you buy a loaf on the way out!
We try to visit here each time we come to Franklin. The food is consistently yummy and the baked goods are awesome-especially the peanut butter pie! Took a delicious quiche home to enjoy later!
I got the sampler platter substituting pimento cheese for tuna salad. My food was good and portion size was great. The chicken salad didn’t have a lot of taste which is why I gave a 4.
Really enjoyed our visit here They were out of what we had wanted to order but it was after lunch hours and counter service said they were sold out of many items. We considered leaving but she recommended some alternatives. We went with the club sandwiches which were grilled. They were amazing!! The side salad was great too! Only drawback was needing to carry a stroller up several steps to get inside and a man took forever to clean the only one stall Women’s bathroom. My 3 year old granddaughter had to use the bathroom. He said it would be 10 minutes in a very unfriendly manner. When we returned later he was still in there. We ended up having to use the mens bathroom out of desperation. Highly recommend for the food. No wait in late afternoon which was super nice.
