Great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food! The fish & chips were delightfully filling without making me miserable. ?
Every once in a while you have a culinary experience that just takes you back to your childhood. I've been looking for a good rendition of Irish Shepard's pie for years. I stumbled upon McCrearys restaurant this past weekend and must say Their Shepard's pie is the best I've had in years. It had an authentic flavor, came In a beautiful ceramic pot covered with cheddar cheese (you can choose swiss or no cheese). Overall the food was very high quality and service was attentive. I also tried the salmon dip cold, was tasty and fresh. I will be back very soon to try their pot pie!!!! Easily five stars
My wife and I visited late on a Saturday night. We were able to get a table but the place was quite busy. I was concerned that at least two ladies at the place had been over-served. Or at least they were pre-gaming before they showed up at the pub. Their partners were taking care of them but it seemed to me that they clearly had already had too much and still had drinks in front of them. The food was good pub food. The cheese chips are a hard pass. The buffalo wings are a hard hell yes. Service was good but busy and preoccupied. The place was exceptionally loud and could do with some sound dampening materials on the walls. However if you love The exceptionally loud and busy pub environment this place is perfect for you.
Quick Service / Great Price / Good Food - Prepared Excellent & Perfection in Taste ... Parking is everywhere; & the Irish Pub & Eatery is everything you might imagine across the big pond. Bravo for the owners on creating the menu, atmosphere, & wonderful option in meals on the menu. Thank you McCreary ...
Went on a Sunday afternoon. Was slightly busy, but there seemed to be at least 4 to 5 servers. So no real excuse for how small the place is. Finally got some service and went ahead and ordered. I ordered shepherds pie and was thoroughly disappointed, a huge pile of melted cheese on top made the dish extremely greasy, and kinda ruined the whole experience. The soda bread was cold and stale, really the only good thing that was edible was the chips that wasn’t seasoned.
Went here on a Saturday night. The place is small and we had to wait about twenty minutes for a table, but very much worth the wait. There was live Irish music. That really set the tone for the meal. The service was excellent. Several choices of draft beer. The Guinness was amazing. We ordered the fish and chips and the cottage pie. Large portions and fantastic!! We will definitely go back when we are in town. It was a real treat!!
Such a fun place! The atmosphere is great. We went on Friday night and the live music was fabulous. The cocktails were delcious and the fish and chips were amazing. The homemade tartar sauce is the best I have ever had and that's coming from a Louisiana girl. Definitely recommend for great food, drinks and entertainment. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We will be back!
Excellent service and menu. Always happy eating there. Guinness beer is always excellent as well.
Went there today for the first time. Sat at a cozy sidewalk table. Great for people watching. Great staff.
I'm not disappointed with anything except that I haven't been here for two years. Food was great as it always has been. Reuben for us and Fish and Chips for our friends. You don't find much better food and service these days.
