Know what you want before you go in or the server never comes back to you. We actually wound up having another server finally take our order about 20 minutes after the first one disappeared. The food was not even mediocre, and definitely not worth the outrageous price they charge. It was neither good, nor a sufficient amount. I honestly wished I had just gone to a Speedway or QuickTrip gas station to get food. It would have been many times better.
I would of gave this place a 5 star but the fried rice just wasn't right. It definitely was not fried and it was bland as well. I am so glad I asked for ginger to be added. I add ginger to everything. So that balanced it out. But!!! I also ordered the Basil Salmon. Let me tell you, The Sauce...with the ginger added to it. Oh my goodness Oh My Goodness. So good! The Salmon was almost as big as the container it came it. The biggest portion from any restaurant Ever. Over all, I was pleased ?
Their Sushi’s are ok but their Chicken Fried Rice were horrible, came out cold and looks microwave steamed rather than Fried in wok. Disappointed!
This place use to be fantastic but the latest few visits the service has been awful and we’ve waited forever for food. This time we had to ask someone if we could order. They completely ignored us when we first sat down. We usually order sushi, which is always really good. This time we ordered chicken and shrimp and it was over cooked and swimming in sauce. They brought the food before we even got drinks. Then we waited even longer for the rice after the food. Also it takes so long to make the to go orders people waiting for those are taking up the tables so there’s no where to sit. Some of the staff was working hard and hustling while the teenage staffers looked like dead weight. I hope they improve.
What a disappointment! Pho noodles were soggy!Salmon and tuna nigiri were unchewable! And Thi garlic chicken was over cooked and rubbery! I would of felt better throwing my $60 out in the street than this place! Oh! And the same annoying trumpet jazz music always playing… ugh! Won’t be back! EVER!!!
Koi was slammed tonight! 3 employees had called out sick and there were about 12 people waiting for takeout orders. Despite this, the staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. We had freshly prepared, delicious sushi and my husband and I just enjoyed talking to each other while we waited a little longer than usual. People, please be PATIENT and KIND. The staff is doing their best under impossibly difficult circumstances. In 9 years they have never let us down. Always great sushi!
This place was amazing! Sit anywhere when I got there was so nice and service was almost immediate. They had a tablet with pictures of every one of their rolls. I didn't try any of them but next time definitely will. I got the toro and yellow fin nigiri to start. The fish was so thick and the rice perfect. Best nigiri I've had. Entree I got was cashew chicken and again amazing. I will be coming back to try their Thai curries and those rolls!

I came here the other day with someone special for my birthday, and I was not disappointed. I've been to the other location in Nashville before, so I kind of knew what to ask in terms of how to make things vegan. We got fresh rolls without shrimp (not pictured; we ate them too fast!), and I got a miso soup, vegetable roll, and a sweet potato roll without cream cheese (I also asked for eel sauce, which doesn't actually have eel in it). This sushi was incredible, as expected, and it was definitely a piece of the puzzle that made my birthday amazing.
I've been coming here for 9-10 years. They have great sushi and fried rice. Soup + Salad are always good, too. It has grown in popularity so you need to order in advance or be prepared to wait at the restaurant (for dinner/weekends) but, it is definitely worth it!
