Love First Watch.Perfect portions, perfectly cooked to order. Hot, fresh & delicious. Coffee, juices. Healthy choices to the best Southern gravy & biscuits. One of my favorite stops on any trip

We went for an afternoon breakfast on Wednesday. I understand we got there after 1, but I still expected the food to be fresh.I got French toast, grits with butter and regular bacon. My husband got turkey sausage gravy & biscuits with over well eggs and he ordered the special bacon they have right now.My French toast was probably the best of the meal. My grits were so cold, lumpy and chewy that I sent them back. My bacon was extra extra extra extra extra crispy. Yes, 5 extras. It was borderline inedible. My husband said his biscuits and gravy were “okay”. His eggs were over easy and he didn’t get his bacon but after seeing mine we didn’t remind the server, and it wasn’t on the bill so she obviously forgot & we weren’t mad about it. She only checked in on us once about 15 minutes into our meal. We’ve eaten at one First Watch in Knoxville and it blew us away (I honestly should have left a review, it was amazing) so we were excited to eat at this one. If this had been our first impression of First Watch, we wouldn’t be back. But since we have had an amazing experience a previous time at another location, we will likely give another location a shot.

An awesome experience each time I go. The staff Is phenomenal & the food is spectacular. I just Love It!

Went there to meet my cousins at 11 am, whom I had not seen in 20+ years!!! It was after 2 pm before we left, and they close at 2:30!!! They never complained about us keeping the booth that long!!! The pancakes I had, the oatmeal, muffin, and eggs Benedict my cousins had, were all so delicious and healthy for us!!! Great wait staff, clean restaurant, and not overpriced for the quality food we enjoyed!!! Yes, I would recommend First Watch and I would return again and again if I lived in the area!!!

They have an insane policy of letting people with internet access make on line get in line reservations. Those people are allowed to come in and go to a table before those waiting in the restaurant get seated. To cap it off the old man at the host table doesn’t tell you how long the wait is so he can keep you in there without a challenge to there wait period. Totally unfair practice for those who arrive to get a table without the internet access!

I took my boys this morning as they had a snow day from school. Deb our server was incredible. My youngest spilled his hot chocolate all over and Deb jumped in to help clean immediately and was so sweet to the boys and me! She got my son a new drink and helped them get new coloring menus, even offering her owns pens because they wanted a blue one. What could have been super stressful situation she turned into magical and fun. A true angel server. The food was perfect too! The experience was one I won’t forget as I got to see kindness in true form.

Among their peers that have drifted in consistency and quality from 2019 to 2022, First Watch really has not.I mean, noone is perfect (one time out of easily 30 our soft eggs were a little too soft, for example) the food is the same level of quality than some of the other brunch places I love that have drifted with quality and service. Not so here. They have always accommodated requests and the staff has always been pleasant. The pandemic has really shown the character of restaurants and First Watch is hitting on all points.Their coffee is "rest of the day" quality, rich and what I'd describe as "thick" if you can describe coffee that way. Bitter enough but not pungent. The food... well, this is one of those places you always want to try what is on the board but you'll debate long between that and your favorites.Farmhouse scramble+thick toast+Greens (trust me)+Millionaire (formerly Million Dollar) Bacon+Coffee+conversation and you've got a winner. This location was redesigned recently and despite having a more open feel I think the sound levels were balanced better. That and it has a great modern rustic southern look that works.

Great food and great service. I almost have a 4 star because the got the eggs wrong on my Eggs Benedict and the tomatoes were not grilled but the place was slammed and I could tell where the dish was going if the kitchen was not backed up. Even with a line out the door my family was seated fast and the service was quick. If I was a local First Watch would surely be a weekly must. Oh and the chicken patty sausage was AMAZING! Grits were on point as well.

Very impressed with my breakfast. Our party of 4 visited on December 27 for brunch, a very busy time! The server was phenomenal despite being swamped with tables! She didn’t miss a beat: all of my needs were acknowledged and anticipated! Her attitude was so positive that she renewed my hope in the service industry! I’m a registered nurse and I understand being understaffed and overwhelmed. This pleasant gal did not make you feel like you were getting any less of a service just because they were busy. The food was superior quality and delicious! So many creative, delicious dishes to try. I got a vegetarian skillet with eggs and potatoes and it was incredible! The establishment also was very hip and superiorly clean. It made for a wonderful visit! Thank you!

Food is usually pretty solid, there are rare occasions where my spuds are undercooked (they shouldn't crunch like carrots lol) but that's understandable considering how busy this place is and understaffed they always are. That being said my family loves coming here and we always love the staff that's working. They are always super friendly and helpful. I would give 5 stars but the lack of kitchen staff puts too much stress on them and affects food quality here and there. Pay your employees more or hire more people. They deserve it.
