I usually do not post bad reviews but this place really needs some form of management. The employees who are working are working incredibly slow but are impatient if the customer does not come up fast enough to the counter to get their order. They show their impatience by rolling their eyes and smacking their hands on their thighs. If I owned this restaurant I would do an entire overhaul on how their employees behave and how the store if ran because it’s definitely not efficient. I wouldn’t have noticed these bad qualities if I wasn’t waiting for my to-go order for over 30 minutes.
Am giving them five now. I went back after my first experience was terrible (service) . I went back 2nd time and 3rd , the food is great, and the owner/manager seems to take actions and make it right, so far everything looks good and the sandwiches are very delicious. My to go place for quick delicious sandwiches, few blocks away from my house.
This restaurant needs to hire people that actually want to work. Every time we come in here the order is always wrong. Its a bunch of young people that work here and all they do is socialize with their friends. The food is good if it is done right. If you order make sure you check to make sure your order is right.
After waiting 20 minutes after our order and seeing everyone that ordered after us receive their food I finally asked an employee about our food and they had lost our ticket and didn't even apologize simply said they'd make it
Very polite and friendly person took my order. Hook and Ladder is hard to beat.
I have been here twice and both times food and staff were amazing! Will definitely be back!
Bread was not fresh and sliced about 1/4 inch on the bottom. Once mustard was applied and mayo (I had asked to leave off) the bottom part of the sandwich was falling apart. Never really had an issue at this location in the past.
All the food was good and the service was pleasant. I had to wait a bit since it was a large order and I'd got there really early, but they didn't give me any grief. Overall I will be back again
Best subs I've ever eaten. The New York steamer is an epic win.
The food was good. But on the meatball we asked for light sauce, instead it was a lot of sauce. The people cooking the food were too busy socializing with there friends instead of paying attention to orders.
