Wow, this place was delicious. We came between lunch and dinner and so the menu was limited but everything we had was phenomenal and fresh. We sat next to the kitchen and watched a woman rock out some bone marrow and cheese raviolis (I assume for the dinner menu). Wish I could have tasted that! I was obsessed with the butter on the bread plate. Paired with the butter...heaven. Everything we had was fantastic as was our server Egla. The butterscotch pudding I had for dessert and my lavender herbal tea were also amazing. I do love my butterscotch! Will absolutely be back! They have a section with tables you can reserve and then a walk in section as well as the patio that are walk in.
We found this place when the Garth Brooks concert was rained out and it was amazing. So we came back after the next Garth Brooks concert to just see if it was still as good. Lee was our waiter both times and he is seriously amazing!! He came up with these amazing mixed drinks both times based off my likes. He is attentive but not overbearing and his recommendations are spot on. The deviled eggs are off the charts!! My husband is a huge coffee and cappuccino connoisseur and their cappuccino is his favorite by far!
I’m new in town and was walking around hoping to find a cute place to grab a bite to eat and popped in for a mid-afternoon break from work. As soon as I walked in the door, everyone was so kind and warm, from the hostess, to the team of servers, to the manager.Egle was the kindest server I’ve ever met, she made me feel so welcomed and considered the entire time. She even gave me a quick recommendation to aid my search for real estate. The complimentary fresh bread and whipped ricotta was one of the simplest pleasures I’ve ever had, it reminded me of being at my Nona’s on a Saturday afternoon. My Cacio e Pepe was perfectly creamy and al dente, and the tiramisu paired with a tea was sinfully rich and the perfect end to my afternoon meal.I will absolutely be going back to enjoy brunch and a cocktail on their beautiful patio!!
The food, service, drinks and atmosphere was impeccable! Extremely clean. Only took photos of the drinks and dessert because I was so hungry. They start with bread and homemade ricotta, it was so fresh. The drinks were innovative but on par for a modern Italian restaurant. Each main plate had a unique twist, while still maintaining the traditional Italian we all love. Would highly recommend the pesto dish.We came back for dessert after walking around as we were full. Both of the desserts we had were great. The tiramisu was some of the best I've had in my life and I'm from Italy!
Food was great! Atmosphere needs some work. The place is very small and so crowded even the wait staff has a hard time navigating and consequently it is very loud too. Our waiter Lee was very knowledgeable and in tune with our needs. The owner(?) or manager (?) got snippy with us when we tried to stand and order at the bar…while she sat at a bar seat intently working on some paperwork. How about letting a paying customer sit down?!
This place is unreal. Lee was the best server, ever. Ask for him. Pasta and pizza were great. $20 corkage for byob, we will be back. Best in Nashville!
Dining at Culaccino was one of the best meals I’ve had. The food was fresh, delicious, and authentic Italian paired with amazing service. We ordered a rigatoni special with guanciale, the L’Angello Sacro pizza, the L’Unico pizza, and the Burrata salad. All of the dishes were flavorful and creative. The Bomboloni dessert was the perfect end to our meal. When we arrived, the restaurant was quite loud, but our server Joseph accommodated us at a different table and made the rest of our dining experience more than enjoyable. The chef/owner Frank and the rest of his staff are personable and truly down to heart people.
Staf seems very unhappy, especially the lady bartender, she tag teams with her husband And he is fine. The hostesses say it is good guy bad guy…./ bottom line is don’t work the bar if you are unhappy!!
This was the best Italian meal I have had! The capanelli with prosciutto in a cream sauce was to die for! The pesto mafaldo was excellent! I high recommend when you are in Franklin!
The entire experience at Culaccino was wonderful. The staff were friendly, informative, and helpful in choosing just the right dish for dinner. The atmosphere was sophisticated, and the restaurant held a fun vibe.
