Great food/service but very expensive. $500 for four people with no drinks or dessert.
I had a filet mignon cooked medium (but came medium rare) and it was OK. Not the best steak but not the worstâ¦..I also got a Caesarâs side salad which was fresh and good. Also I ordered Brussels sprouts which were heavily glazed and heavily burned. I took them home and ate them the next dayâ¦although they were burned almost through and through, I still enjoyed them :-) My husband had chicken parmigiana and he said âI give it a 90 out of 100â and he didnât eat the pasta that came with it. The broccoli was good as was the bread. This restaurant has a nice ambiance but it seems dirty. For sure, the booth we were led to was dirty, because when I sat down I saw food on the seat and promptly got up. I asked the server to clean the seat, and he didnât notice that the side my husband was sitting on also had food on that bench. So I asked him to clean that one as well. This restaurant is in a complex that has an indoor mall right next to the strip mall section with the restaurant.
Connors is my "Go To" place for lunch. They have an outstanding 4 price point menu at $12, $13, $14, and $15 with 6 or so options at each price. They have trout, salmon, and tuna dishes, plus grilled shrimp or tasty crab cakes if you like seafood. I'm partial to the grilled shrimp and crab. They are both delicious and the crab comes with remoulade and the cocktail sauce for the marinated shrimp is spot on. You can get a nice wood grilled steak, a great burger, or many various salads with most proteins you might choose. The chicken picatta rocks! I always get extra sauce to pour over my broccoli, and they steam it to just the right tenderness every time. Most entree's come with two sides, and they have ample good choices. But I often upgrade to a generous side salad for just a $2 up charge. They pay attention to ever detail. You start with the base-- an ice chilled bowl to keep the salad crispy and fresh. The lettuce mix is mostly romaine and add carrot and almond slivers, tomatoes, egg, and bacon. While they offer many delicious home-made dressings, I almost always choose the rich and creamy blue cheese. It's almost a meal unto itself. And if you love fried, you can't beat the chicken fingers or the fish n chips. All in all, it is the best value in town. Plus it's a great place to conduct business and the servers are well trained, even the newest additions. As many great restaurants as Cool Springs provides, Connors has been my staple several times a month for the entire time I've lived here. Cheers, Patrick
Our server, Emily, was wonderful! Food was very good!
We really enjoyed our time there Saturday night, except it was a little noisy. Everything else was absolutely perfect.
Great food Great service Great Drinks Great desserts
Great restaurant! We enjoyed it so much we returned 2 nights later. Excellent food and very friendly staff.
Steak (filet mignon) was waaaay overcooked the first go around. Second go around it was cooked to perfection, but was so grisly I could only eat half of it. I probably wonât go back.
Excellent meal, well prepared and presented. Courteous, professional and proficient service.
Consistent in all areas: service, food quality, ambience. We have always had a good experience
