Needs a lot of customer service training. Food is great. Always ask customer if they want cream and provide spoon. Check on coffee refill and make sure they still have a spoon if the creamer is gone, bring more. I felt like I was the waitress and not the customer. No one asked how the food was or acted like they cared. Manager seemed on top of things when I talked to her - set my cup out twice for coffee , and no response. Had to ask for coffee twice. Just no training , maybe. Come here for food , not service. Odd service. Will give it another chance down the road.
Stopped by for a family breakfast. Food was very good but the wait was entirely too long. Once we sat at the table it took over an hour and the place wasn’t that crowded. Our waiter didn’t seem interested in working. I wouldn’t judge a place off someone working there but just wanted to point it out just be prepared. Coffee was very good and my food was well prepared but could have used more seasonings. I tried some other plates at the table and will say I think I just ordered the wrong item because everything else was very good.
This was like a fast food breakfast restaurant. The coffee was stale and cool, the scramble eggs were cool, the bacon was cool, the toast was cool. Don’t hurry to get here your meal is already on the grill waiting for you.
First visit! Dropped by around 11am for a late breakfast. I went to check in and it was going to be atleast a 45 minute wait, but there were 2 seats at the bar so we took them. Service was a little slow, but understandable due to them being busy. I ordered the flap cakes with sausage patties. Great pancakes! Sausage was a little spicy for me but really good. Overall, great place!
Cool atmosphere. French toast looks AH MAZING! Cant wait for it to come out! Coffee is good. They have healthy options as well as cheat meals that are completely worth it!! Yum!!! French toast!!! I would say it is more of an upscale food with relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious. Well priced for what it was. I would say $20-$25 per person. We had 2 adults 2 children with a $95 tab and $25 tip. Bacon was ahmazing!!!! Potatoes were good. Coffee was DELICIOUS AND the hot vanilla latte was OUT OF THIS WORLD! They have the most delicious whip cream I have ever tasted. It was barely sweet. So creamy. Buttery. It was so dang tasty. I had to swat the kids off of it.
This was my first visit and I will say it was good but not great. I came with family on Easter Sunday. I used the app to reserve a table and we waited less than 5 minutes before being seated after arriving. I'm big on coffee so in my opinion it can make or break my review. It was a decent roast, my only issue was that my server didn't keep my cup full. I would usually excuse this with it being Easter but the restaurant wasn't overly busy and well staffed. I liked the twist on southern favorites but I found that spice was added where not necessary and southern staples had little to no seasoning. Unfortunately this is common among restaurants serving southern fare but trying to cater to a wide audience. As with Cajun cuisine, rarely do you find it properly seasoned. Portions were ample and I was satisfied. I would return but I wouldn't make a special trip.
My wife and I visited for breakfast this morning and had a 10/10 experience! Our server, Lori, provided incredibly quick and attentive service and was on top of every refill. Our food was also out less than 5 minutes after we ordered. The food was excellent as well and if we are ever back in the area we will definitely return!
This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is great. I love the airy, bright feel to my morning when there. The staff is incredible, and they were so kind and helpful when I went in with my two toddlers. Food is excellent- the pancakes are amazing!
Went to Big Bad Breakfast for a late breakfast. I had read about the French toast in other reviews and wanted to give it a try. It was good. They deep fry it and it has a bit of brandy in it that gives it a distinctive flavor. The cream and strawberries top it off. Also has syrup on the side. It's not a huge platter so the size is just right. I had a nice surprise with the side though. I got sausage patties and thought nothing of it. But they have a kick to them and were really spicy and flavorful. Not hot though. When I go back in the future, I will go for a sausage dish. The wait staff were prompt and attentive. Some of the other reviews suggested otherwise. Did not see that myself. Good value for money here. Parking is okay but can be kind of busy since it's shared with other businesses. Good experience and liked it.
Food was great, really loved my creole omlette and the fresh squeezed grape fruit juice. Also, the Hash brown cakes were amazing :) Will be back!
