we just found our new favorite restaurant in the nashville area...everything about our dinner was beyond what we had expected...such an incredible place!!!
Such a quaint restaurant with amazing food. I had the braised short rib and it did not disappoint!
Dining was a memorable experience. The decor was enlightening and the mood perfect for our anniversary. Appetizers were delicious, but the presentation was lacking. The selection was broad, though, and impressive. Our entrées were hit or miss. The braised beef rib was amazing; however, the duck breast was average and quite salty. Will eat here again for special occasions, as it was still quite enjoyable.
Food was awesome. For the prices youâd expect small portions. We originally thought it would be a âfancyâ establishment with high prices and little portions of food on a big white plate. The portions were actually quite filling and my wife and I had to share one side. I definitely overate.
I'm afraid I can't recommend this place. Oversalted, undercooked, and untimely. Our party of four went to 1892 on a Sunday evening. Salmon appetizer for the table was very good. For entrees, we ordered steak frites, halibut, rack of lamb, and duck. Dishes took nearly 90 minutes to arrive, and did not come all at once. All dishes were overspiced, and all were undercooked (think blue meat on beef that is ordered medium rare). You can't ask $40 a plate for food and service at this level.
Have eaten here several times and been a favorite. Last night the food was not good. Tuna Nachos - tuna was not good, couldnât eat it. Blackened trout was very salty. We like it enough we will try again, but if the food is not good - the prices seem even higher
Was great but almost too quiet
This was our first time dining here and we loved it!! The menu changed based on what is fresh, which is both smart and exciting. We sampled five dishes and had to bring food home because portion sizes are generous. The staff are all super sweet and efficient too. We will be back!
This was a awesome place to celebrate our engagement. Emma was one of the best servers weâve had. She kept us well entertained with the ghost stories. We even heard it walking across the ceiling. We will be back the next time weâre in the area.
Visiting from out of town. We waited for over an hour and never got food. Finally left. I know everyone is short staffed and the waitress was very nice, but had to ask a few times for update on order. We drove a long way to get there. Cute town, but need to figure out kitchen timing. Wouldnât go back until I knew they were running smoothly. By the time we got back everything closing up. No dinner
