Great place!

Went for brunch and it was delicious. I loved the booths with curtains- very nice setting. We will be back.

Everything was great up until the entrees. Great service, good drinks. Appetizers & wine were outstanding. Then the main course came & was very disappointed. My wife our friend had the pork chop. It came out overcooked & burned on on the outside. I ordered the shrimp & grits. It was not one of the better shrimp & grit entrees that I have had. Not worth the $400 we spent. Save your money & go to Red Pony or Cork & Cow. 1799 not worth it.

My other half and I went for my birthday/anniversary. Valet parking was so convenient. Parking in downtown Franklin can be a nightmare. We had a drink at the bar. It was so homey yet elegant. We didn’t care for the singer/guitarist. The volume was too loud and sound system definitely needs upgrading. We were seated at a booth. Loved it! Very private and romantic and really cut down on the loud volume in the bar. Food was excellent! Great service. Will be back for sure.

Exceptional place to get dressed up and eat a fancy dinner. Bring your wallet but the food was amazing.

We absolutely loved our experience here. The food was great. The booth we sat in was surrounded by curtains, which kept it quiet and made conversation easy. The server did a great job.

Great Birthday Dinner!

Great food and service, will definitely come back Loved popovers

Our first dining experience here was not good. We made a reservation for brunch. We arrived 3 minutes early, the restaurant was not busy, we had a 1:15 reservation. We checked in with the hostess & she said ok, it will be a few minutes to set up your table. We waited about 5 minutes, that was ok, but what is the point of making a reservation & seeing the restaurant nearly empty & tables all set up & ready but then have to wait for a table? Anyway, the hostess seated us & said our server would be with us shortly. There were about 3 servers running around, & I could tell that they seemed annoyed to have customers. Our server greeted us & we ordered 2 unsweet teas with lemon, & 1 mimosa. Service was slow, & only 1 of our teas had lemon. We both ordered omelets with ham & veggies. Took awhile to get our food & it seemed as though the restaurant was empty. A server brought out our food & placed it on the table but didn’t ask if we needed anything else. The potatoes that came with the omelette were cold. The omelettes were not seasoned & our first thought was it needed some salt & pepper, but there were none on the table but I noticed some shakers on a hostess stand so I got up myself to get some. Our server was nearby but never acknowledged that I even got up. Our omelettes were suppose to have ham & veggies but there was hardly any of either in them. At least the egg/cheese was warm! The mimosa tasted good, but I only ate a few bites of potatoes & “egg/cheese”, couldn’t find much ham or veggies except for a couple tiny cubes of ham & a couple tiny cubes of red bell pepper. For a $70 brunch this was not acceptable. We won’t be back. Terrible service & food.

Our experience was very enjoyable with all the ingredients of being upscale without being too formal.
