I must say, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had at Waffle House! I was tired, VERY grumpy, and hungry. The place was packed!! I really didn't want to wait but my husband thought it would be fine. The manager was on there working his butt off! He was out bussing tables, sweeping floors and wiping down counters while letting his cooks be cooks. He served the food for tables that weren't right up against the kitchen. When we finally were seated, the server was quick to take our order, our food came out quickly, and she made sure we had everything we needed. When we were close to done, despite being very busy, the manager took time to come talk with us and make sure we didn't need anything. I was very, very, impressed. This may need to be a new tradition.... to visit this specific Waffle House Sunday morning after an event at Montgomery Bell State Park.
What a disgustingly dirty restaurant.I have never been to a waffle house,Went just now, waited around for 6 mins hoping a table would get cleaned off. When it did i asked the waitress if she could get someone to sweep all the garbage from under the table as i clearly had a service dog. She said,“If you want there are two seats at the bar.”She refused to clean up the garbage from the previous customers.We left and went to another location 5 miles away. It was closed due to short staff and no clean dishes.
I think they need more staff and to pay their workers more. Also they could use more in the way of direction/signage explaining where to stand and when to pay.Feels like you're expected to know how to go through the process. You order, eat, then pay at register. They could use a second register.

Four (yes 4) scrambled eggs with cheese in them with an order of bacon amd hash browns. Yum Yum!!! This was years ago… Went today 01232022 and not sure how they still in business… Service was awesome! Yes, I asked for crispy bacon and hash browns, but don’t remember asking them to taste like freezer burned floor shavings. Going down to one star!
It was great the food tasted really good and the staff was friendly ?
The district manager walked out in the middle of the rush. Only leaving this bc of the DM.
Can't beat the waffles. Or the triple scattered smothered n covered hash browns. Why ur there, Leave a generous TIP. Make em smile ?
My experience here was so pleasant and my daughter and I left feeling happy and relaxed. Just the way the staff interacted with everyone and each other was respectful and appreciative. It was clear the manager (Chad, I believe) appreciates his staff and how great they are at their jobs. We will definitely go back!
They always make my hashbrowns crispy for me! Wonderful service.
