I ordered tomatoe bisque soup and they gave me marinara sauce. I mean it was pretty good marinara sauce but definitely not soup. Worse, they put it in two tiny cups rather then one normal size cup.
When you receive your order you'll be very pleased. They actually load up your sandwich with lots of fixings and it's delicious. I frequent McAlister's Deli every week and often multiple times each week. I'm hankerin' for another sandwich while writing this.
The food was great. I would give it 5 stars, but when we got there, there were three young workers behind the counter chatting with each other for a couple minutes. We didn't get service until they saw an older lady come out of the kitchen.
Order d a meal for pickup to go on Feb 23. Quickly realizes I ordered it at the Dickson location and not the Franklin location, where I worked. Re-ordered it for the correct location and called to cancel the order at the Dickson location. They told me my order was cancelled.Fast forward a day or two - my credit card was charged for the cancelled meal. Called, spoke to a manager, she said it would be refunded.A week goes by - still no refund. Call again, they told me I'd be refunded.Another week goes by - still no refund. Call again, told the same thing - yet again. Here we are - March 22nd - one day shy of being a full month since I cancelled an order, and my card is still being charged for $11.02 and no refund has been given.A) I shouldn't have still been charged anyway when I quickly cancelled the orderB) don't lie to me multiple times and tell me I'll get a refund to not give it to me.You charged me for a meal I did not receive. And have yet to refund me...a month later. That's stealing.
This McAlister's continues to be solid! Good, consistent food and great service! Although it recently opened, it definitely stands out from other locations...Keep up the good work!
It didn't knock my socks off. The side portions were very small and bland. The sandwich didn't come with the avocado that was listed in the description. I quickly understood why there is salt and pepper at each table. The food was just really blah. Once I sprinkled salt on the sandwich and tomato/cucumber salad it was better. The meal was affordable and fresh. The people were nice. It was my first time there. I don't know that I would return too often, but I did leave full!
The food was good but one of my sandwiches was wrong and it was the simplest one. I told the girl 4 times that I wanted chicken, tomato and mayonnaise and they forgot the tomato. They haven't been open that long either. I hope they do better with everyone else's.
McAlister's is my favorite deli type restaurant. The food is made fresh to order, and the service is fast, friendly, professional, and done with a smile.Modify your order, to your preference, it's no problem. Management at this particular location is exceptional! We were greeted with a smile, and awesome personalities! Not one bad attitude, in the place!I will definitely be returning there, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants delicious food, and a great dining experience!
Fast, clean, delicious sandwiches and amazing soups, and let's not forget the cane sugar lemonade! McAlister's Deli is a welcome addition to Dickson's foodie fare with it's local-themed decor. You'll go for the food but stay for the cozy atmosphere while you enjoy great hand made salads and sandwiches. There's outdoor seating, an expansive indoor seating with booths and tables along with a section for large groups. Everything was clean, the tables were cleared immediately and wiped. Staff brought our food and was very courteous making McAlister's a great stop for lunch. Prices are amazing for the HUGE amount of sandwich and soup you get for just the half portions! I swear they put the full amount of meat for my 'New Yorker' Pastrami sandwich on the half bread slice, and the cup of soup was easily a bowl serving. Amazing!
Glad to have McAlister's here in Dickson! The King Turkey Club was bigger than I expected. It had plenty of meat (turkey and bacon) sandwiched between six pieces of bread along with lettuce and honey mustard ?add tomatoes of that's your thing. The broccoli and cheese soup was creamy and cheesy.Everything was fresh from the food to the brand new establishment.Service is speedy even during peak times. Highly recommend this family friendly restaurant.
