Have always liked the atmosphere of Beef&Barrel but this was the first time I tried their patio area. I would it to be very comfortable though bare. I do wish they'd do more with it as I understand they used to have karaoke. That's not really my thing but if you have the outdoor dining space and don't make the most out of it, what a waste. Make a themed garden or something if you're not doing karaoke.Anyway as always the staff was very helpful and accommodating. My waitress was friendly and informative, always had a smile and a laugh. And the food? I could have paired it better with my whiskey but it tasted just perfect. It was so fresh and hot it was steaming. My chicken was still moist and succulent and my "vegetable garden" was beautiful and looked as if it had just been picked. Well done guys!

We lucked into finding this great restaurant that also had a dog-friendly patio! We had the patty melt, the french dip, and sweet tea. The cole slaw and french fries that came with our sandwiches were also great! The service, which Chelsea provided, was excellent! She provided fast, friendly service and even gave our dog some water and gave us “to go” containers for our iced tea when we headed back on the road.A great experience all around. Highly recommend!

We are traveling and we had our dog with us. We called ahead, understanding we’d probably have to sit outside. The host let us know he’d let us in the back (like we were famous or something) and sat us on the covered patio. Our waiter, John, was great. He turned the fans on, brought the pup some water and kept our lucky lemonades full. Good pub food. We’ll be back if we’re in the area again.

Great restaurant, excellent service and awesome ? food. I had the Salmon Teriyaki with Rice Pilaf and Steam Broccoli. It was the best, flavourful and well cooked. I'll definitely come back. ?

My friend and I stopped in for lunch. Leslie was our server. She was fantastic. Very attentive , checked back to make sure everything was fine. We will be asking for her when- ever we come back.

we've eaten here several times in the past and have always received great service and good food. We visited last night with some friends and had really mixed feelings about the visit. The young man that was doing the seating seemed to keep forgetting who was waiting for a table. The wait time was supposed to be 20 to 25 minutes. We finally got our table after almost 40 minutes. The table had been empty for over 30 minutes.Just before we were seated, there was a party of 24 that was seated before us. Not all 24 people were there so our order was taken before the groups. We are not sure exactly what happened, but over half of the 24 people got there food before ours came out. We got the feeling that the cook maybe lost our ticket. The waitress seemed to be doing all that she could to get our food out.Once our food did arrive, my steak was closer to cool than even warm and closer to very rare than medium rare. The prime rib that some of our group ordered was very good and prepared the way it was ordered. We enjoy this restaurant, but will maybe think twice about eating there on a Saturday night. The waitress did apologize about the wait, but the manager never showed up at the table to explain what the problem had been nor apologize for the 80 minute wait for our food.

The staff was very helpful and the food was very good once we got it. Because of a very large party that got seated before us we didn’t get our meal until an hour after we ordered. Also because of the size of the restaurant it was very noisy and loud due to the large party taking up half the restaurant. I personally think the kitchen lost our order, because our server asked us if we needed anything and she was told our dinners. The only saving grace for this place was when our food finally came it was good and our waitress was very attentive. Next time I am in Crossville, TN I might try it again, hopefully there won’t be a party of 25 ahead of us.

Every time I come into this establishment for dinner in the evening time my food is burnt or not cooked correctly the service is horrible the only time to ever come in this restaurant and get a decent meal is there and dayshift at lunch. Night me and my family after having two times a bad experiences decided to give it one more chance our server Ashley was hateful took care of other people over us after coming in after us and brought our food out burnt. I do not recommend this restaurant for dinner I do recommend going there for lunch they’ve got some really good cooks at those hours but the last three dinners I’ve had from there I would not feed my animals. Ever since new management/owner has taken over From Bruce this restaurant has gone downhill!!!!!!

First time at the Beef and Barrel and was not disappointed. I took a picture of the appetizer: zucchini and goat cheese with marinara and a basalmic reduction. It was so good that when our food arrived we started eating because the appetizer worked so well. Friendly staff and a down home atmosphere made for a pleasant visit.

We were there for the night of the Superbowl, and they had a limited menu. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, it was SO very bland, the bun tasted old/stale, and so I took the chicken off of it. I got French fries with it, and while they looked good, they weren't really cooked long enough, several of the fries tasted and looked half cooked inside. My husband got a cheeseburger and onion rings, which both tasted good. The onion rings looked like they had been way overcooked, but they tasted really good. All in all, I don't think we will go back. Nice folks, but the food was very sub-par. We would not have gone if we had realized it was a limited menu. Looking at the pictures now, they only had the bar area open for dine in.
