Not impressed with my service, I ordered the house pizza, omitting the green peppers and pepperoni (instead I wanted more sausage. Well after waiting over an hour, we came when they opened for lunch. My pizza came loaded with pepperoni, only a few pcs of sausage, didn't want to wait another hr, so I accepted it( picked off the pepperoni) but the waiter plopped the whole hot stone in front Of me on the table, no plate nothing, had to ask which when he came back with more food for the other guests, asked again. The other guests complained about things that they wanted omitted but came anyway, said the burger was so hard, couldn't even cut thru it. Will not be back, even a Hunts brother pizza is better than yours and way faster!

Very nice place, went for the rack of lamb but none to be had. The lasagna was very dry and the others agreed. also, $8.50 for three sips of whiskey was not appreciated . Service was fast and very good.

We moved to Crossville from Bayonne NJ almost 2 years ago. This is the BEST PIZZA ? we have been able find!?

House Grinder was a huge disappointment. Was edible, definitely store bought. Chips I know was the side they offered. Pricing to value definitely needs work. Dated & definitely older/geriatric crowd. Restaurant could be awesome & has potential. Need work.

On vacation- everywhere pretty much closed at 8, we called and they said the kitchen closes at 8:15. We find the place walk in and the lady tells us because we have more than 4 we need a reservation, when we said it would have been nice to know that she practically chased us out the door saying we should have told her how many people we had, not saying reservations couldn’t have been made but they were just rude.

When you make your reservation you can request the small room that has a fireplace and just one table. Lovely for a romantic dinner, birthday, anniversary, etc. The Italian offerings are authentic in flavor and gourmet in size. This is not the type of place for someone that likes to overindulge in food by quantity. It is for someone who enjoys flavor and presentation of their food.

I live close and have been there often. Sometimes the food is good, sometimes it is not. I placed an order at 5;30. They told me I could pick it up at 6:15. When I arrived, they told me it would not be ready until 7:30. WHAT? Then they said they called but I gave them the wrong phone number. WHAT? Then they said they did speak to "someone" but they must have forgotten to tell me. WHAT? Bottom line, it just had to be my fault. I asked why the long delay and they said it was because a party of 10 came in. Low speed operation with poor customer service. They traded away years of us using them for a party of 10. That was my last visit.

We were told this was a wonderful place to eat and we were not disappointed. We made reservations which is recommended. We chose the potato leek soup which was exquisite. The sauce on the main meal was both filled with flavor and very light and complemented the pork loin. The setting added to the dining experience. The waitress could have been more attentive but the food and setting made up for it I highly recommend if you want a great meal.

Great Food, Poor Service: 1. Upon being seated, we had to wait 10-15 minutes before even being presented with a menu. Thus the less than excellent rating. 2. The facility was uncomfortably cool on a cool day with doors wide open. 3. The waitress, after arrival at the table, was not friendly and seemed put out to have to wait on our party of 3 -- thus the less than excellent rating. 4. The upstairs restroom was very dirty. 5. The food (penne pasta, spaghetti, and the roast pork dinners) was excellent and well presented. The peanut butter pie was also excellent. 6. Prices were reasonable for the value. A return visit will occur, hopefully with a more friendly wait staff.
