Stopped in for supper during my travels and the service with Dustin was friendly and fast. Food was good and hot.The reason for my 3 stars is because when I looked up from my table and saw stuff falling from the ceiling I was absolutely disgusted by what I saw. Please clean your fans and decor. Some of the fans were actually on and blowing dust everywhere.I personally would not come back.
Tasty food and usually seated quickly. Some servers are crabby in the morning. Not heart healthy food but tastes good.
Everyone was very helpful. Because of health reasons I am eating a very restricted diet. They were accommodating and so nice about it. I wonder if Cracker Barrell would consider adding side dishes of eggs and meat. The carnivore diet is the only thing that doesn't tie my insides in knots. Thank you all for helping me stay safe.
I'm not from Tennessee me and my family were visiting on vacation from Michigan. The staff were super nice, but I was not happy with food and drinks at all. The cornbread was rock hard. We didn't even try to eat the cornbread because it was too hard. Mac n cheese was alright. My chicken and dumplings was chewy. The lemonade was just sour. The burger we ordered was supposed to be medium and it was not medium. They forgot one of our Mac n cheese orders as well. Maybe other stuff is good on the menu, but this stuff was not. The strawberry shortcake was alright.
The Cracker Barrel is a staple of the South. I think everybody should try it at least once. The food is yummy, nice and greasy! The staff is always awesome and there's a really cute store as you enter the establishment. Bacon and eggs, pancakes, waffles, fried chicken, meatloaf, grits! YUM!
I've been to several Cracker Barrel restaurants in both Tennessee and Georgia since the beginning many years ago and I have NEVER been disappointed .... until my encounter at this location. We were seated right away as the store was not busy, but then waited 15 minutes before being acknowledged by a server in a nearby section. Our server finally came to take our order and, once our food came out, she had gotten my son's order wrong. I had ordered chicken & dumplings, expecting my meal to be incredibly delicious (see 1st sentence), but I've had better from a can. The server never asked if everything was OK and there was no sign of a manager.
My husband and I travel a lot, and we enjoy eating at Cracker Barrels. This location by far is the BEST we have ever dined at. We have dined at locations in WV, VA, TN, and NC. We were so impressed with the service and quality/flavor of food. We dined at this location on a Suday during what we call Sunday Lunch Crowd! It was busy for sure. We were seated in less than the timeframe given, service was quick! Our waitress was on point with keeping our drinks refilled, ensuring our food was right and tasted good. Servings were good portions and flavor just right. I even noticed the manager doing what's called table touches to chat with guest. Wish we could have gotten the opportunity to speak with him to praise his staff and quality of food. This was an excellent dining experience for us.
I felt nostalgic going into a Cracker Barrel while on vacation - it has probably been about 20 years since I lived near one and frequented.. The staff was very friendly. The shop area was too crowded with 'stuff' and the selections were overwhelming. I didn't recall how unhealthy the menu was. Hubby had a fine breakfast. I had chili and a salad. I'm not used to sweet chili, so I wasn't a fan; however, it was sure loaded with meat.
The food was not as tasty as usual, and wasn't hot, except for the fish. It was very cold which made the food cool fast. It was 29 degrees out side, and they had the air condition going. Saw some employee had on a winter jacket. Saw a big young man, even shivering.
Great food and better service.
