This was my first time visiting Pyros and the pizza was very good. While I was pleased to customize my order the staff was very light on the pizza toppings. Upon visiting the second time I requested more toppings and promptly received more. The staff was very focused and swift as they worked to get the crowd out if the restaurant. While I was generally pleased by the service and food, during my second visit the pizza was not as warm and had not spent enough time in the oven. Overall, I enjoyed the pizza, especially at its inexpensive price, and the atmosphere of this establishment.
Pizzas were very tasty, and the kiddos enjoyed choosing their toppings as they went through the line. One star was taken for two of the young ladies who were difficult to hear behind their masks. When iasked to repeat, instead of doing so, they laughed and said something to each other before repeating themselves. Employees need to understand the noise level of their restaurant combined with their mask requires the need for them to speak up. Don't be rude.
Very friendly and personable staff! I went in never having ate there, and one of the staff members (Rama) gave me some great suggestions. Even suggested that I should get my pizza a little extra crispy. Even the shift lead at the time (Dana) recommended the cinnamon bites and had a good conversation with me as I waited my food. Keep being great!
First of all, I will not order pizza from Pyro's again. Ordered a medium pizza to go. Notice pizza crusts that were being removed from the fire pit oven were practically burnt. Suggested to the pit guy who's responsible for rotating and removing pizzas from the pit oven that maybe the temp was too high. He basically replied, "Many like their crust this way". Anyone with an average IQ knows that no customer deserves or should receive their pizza crust burnt. Advised Dana, shift manager that maybe the fire pit temp needs adjusting. He basically dismissed the request and advised that he would look into it. While waiting, the pit guy thought that he would recommend that I wait over in the dinning area. I replied, "No". You don't get to tell me where to stand. If you're not capable of remotely addressing a customer concern, recommend choosing another labor job where customer engagement isn't a requirement.
Wow, I thought Little Caesars was top notch in Memphis, but this Pyros blew my mind away! As soon as I entered the pizzeria, I was greeted by the bossman Dana, who asked for my name and insisted on calling me Mr. Big Dee while I ate my food there. I thought I was going to be late to my back-waxing appointment, but the line moved so quickly! Next thing I know, I'm at the front of the line ordering my food from a delicious assortment of ingredients (so many options!). However, I did notice a lady screaming at one of the handsome workers with a vein sticking out of her forehead; when I asked her what's the matter, she looked at me and furiously quacked at me like a duck. Nevertheless, my experience here was incredible and I'm definitely bringing my wife here for our 25 year anniversary!
Customer service was really great the only thing that I thought was kind of dirty was there was a lot of trash when you enter the doorway by the bathrooms and the front looked a little trashy I'm at the peaks that were awesome the drinks were great customer service was great
I placed my order online. After the pizza was brought to the car, I noticed that it was not entrée size and was burned….so I took the pizza inside to be remade….the gentlemen making pizzas/salad didn’t have mask covering nose… this is concerning since omicron Covid variant is highly contagious…. I was also instructed by the manager to “get back in line to have my pizza remade (but this was an online order so I was never in line)”….. long story short….I received a refund….the manger did not seem concerned about the poor quality of the pizza; or about her staff not wearing mask correctly… very disappointing because Pyros has historically been my favorite pizza spot!!!!!! :(
The dough bites were essentially just some bread pulled apart and toasted. Somehow they were covered in seasoning, but also flavorless and served with a cold ramekin of what I'm guessing was canned marinara. Pizza was all right. I got some onion mixed in with one of my toppings that I assumed fell into the pan.
The food is fine but it's basically self-service, so why are they asking for tips? There's no table service. Feels like they probably don't pay their people enough or are just pocketing tips given.
I rarely have a bad experience at Pyros. The food and ingredients are consistently good. I typically get a snack pizza and a salad. The balsamic glaze is great for a salad dressing! There is rarely a long wait for food.
