Great service, friendly folks, and great food! I'm a BBQ nachos fan and they were delicious. Great pork sandwich and Brunswick stew as well. Will definitely go back when I'm back in Cookeville.
BBQ potato is really good and cashier always nice and friendly. I honestly would come here at least once a week if they didn't try scamming you with adding nacho cheese for the potato. I just wanted a ladle, but nope gotta spend an extra $4 for an excessive amount that doesn't even include chips
I ordered 5 pulled pork sandwiches that came with dry pork when I was told the bbq was on the pork & only got 2oz of bbq sauce. I called & was continuously talked over by a rude manager. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! CHECK YOUR FOOD IF YOU GO HERE. -5star service!
All the food here is great. We eat here at least once a week if not twice. They have daily specials as well. The pork sandwich has been on point the last 3 or 4 times I've gotten it. BBQ nachos are yummy as well.
My 1st visit and thought I'd give it a try mostly because Whitt's (my favorite) was closed due to snow. I ordered a Family Pack with 2lbs of bbq pork, potato salad and baked beans. Pretty good BBQ at affordable prices. A good place for quick, friendly drive thru service. Fed 4 for $30 bucks! All were happy.
Service was fast. Meat tasted decent. The "rolls" are not so great, very bland. The Cole slaw was just terrible. The mac n cheese had too much pepper not enough salt. Overall ??
The BBQ was yummy. But my sandwich was pitiful. I've never seen so little meat on a bun. It was maybe 1/2" thick in one spot and didn't meet the edges. Maybe they were trying to stay competitive? I would have gladly paid more to have the correct amount of meat on my sandwich. It would have made a good kid's meal.
Stopped in on the motorcycle because it was recommended to me by some friends. They complemented the bike, I ordered and then was told I couldn't eat inside..... I simply threw my food away and left. Would have been nice to know I wasn't allowed to eat inside before ordering. (There was others in the dinning room eating when I arrived. Not sure if it was just employees on break or not) as a customer doesn't seem right to me. I will not go back. This was earlier this summer.
I had take out from this place a few times at work, it was always great. Decided to come site down with the family the other day. Got one of their combo family meals. A lot of food for the price. It’s a small building with decent seating space. The food was given to you almost right as you ordered it. It’s amazing how much business and savory bbq they can push out of a small place. The pulled pork and chicken, beans, and beans pudding are amazing. Love their bbq sauce too!
Bbq nachos, amazing. This place is a true gem and we are lucky to have in this town. Great visit and look forward to many more.
