Girl working lied straight to her managers face about doing something when she didn't. Manager sided with her, anyways the app claimed to be a "free milkshake" and they wouldn't or couldn't honor it. Came back the next day ( this story) and was met with the lying chick saying "I gave you that milkshake last week" when I was there yesterday inquiring about how to get the free shake from the app.I'm sure corporate would love to hear more about this wonderful experience me and a friend had there.
I am very disappointed in the way stek and shake has done there menu. I use to love.to go to this store but will never return. Now. I have a allergy to red meat and always got there chicken sandwich no they have no chicken options my son loves eating here he did love his burger and the cheese fries where good the keosk worked I for technology but feel in person interaction is better. All and all for me very disapointed
Ease of ordering, but I didn't notice any selections for meat doneness (well done, etc). Clean seating, ease of self serve beverages. Food was good, but not served hot - meal seemed to have been sitting for a while before serving.
First I pull up and ask for two large BACON cheese fries which cost more than the regular cheese fries, the woman at the speaker starts to say something but then stops and just lets me order them (which I have successfully ordered many times before at this steak ‘n shake). Then I pull up to the window and she charges my card and hands me a drink that I had also ordered. It takes them forever to hand me my bacon cheese fries and when they do, they are in fact NOT LARGE and NO BACON was anywhere in that bag. They handed me two regular sized french fries with cheese dipping. I am disgusted with this steak ‘n shake, I paid the extra money for bacon cheese fries and was absolutely scammed. If they were going to give me regular cheese fries they should have charged me as so but they did not. I hope they all lose their jobs. Bunch of teenagers who don’t know what they’re doing.
Service has improved so much. It was like eating at a different place. Great cheeseburger, hot, juicy. Awesome fries, great milkshake, but I do not like the paper straws. Overall very good meals. Thank you.
Best friend and I were on a road trip and stopped at steak and shake. We haven’t had it in almost 10 years. This staff and quality of food was sky high. Thank you so much for everything! You guys rock!
The food is fantastic. But with these self-order locations there should probably be a host walking the floor making sure everybody’s meals are coming out correctly.
Very disappointed the food didn't taste like it used too, no servers, had to order from a computer screen, had straws made out of paper (yuk) just a bad experience we won't be back.
My God NO! Raised prices double! NO Waitresses. NO condiments. Ruined Stake and Shake for me. Only three people running the whole place. No onions on the patty melt.
Stopped here a few years ago and left without eating because no one ever came to take our order. Now you order at a kiosk or online. Much better experience. Restaurant seemed cleaner as well. Food was good as expected.
