I'll make this short , Popeyes can learn a lot off of Chick-fil-A business model especially concerning drive though service.
I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure they forgot we were pulled up by the person working the window and we were told to park and they would bring the food out and they forgot that we were even there. When I got out of the car and started to walk inside a worker brought the food out to us. They forgot my wife's biscuit as well. It's all right everybody makes mistake Just the way it happened. We were actually traveling and had to be on time and that almost made us late but we both hadn't eaten all day. We won't be back but it's okay they're not going to go bankrupt lol
Got the chicken strip meal. The chicken strips taste old and very dry. Tiny piece of chicken in the middle of a lot of crust. Taste like the strips had been sitting there all day and were warmed up. Nasty. Very disappointed. But the last couple of times, I purchased the same order, and it was really good. Not sure what happened
I arrived and wasn’t aware that the store was closed. All signage and menus were illuminated which indicates open for business. After I sat there for a moment I realized that the store was closed. The back door was propped open and after seeing a employee I advised her that the advertisement lights should be turned off in order to indicate that the store is closed. She advised me that all lights stay on because someone could come in and murder them. After being in a few combat situations, I would comfortably say that lights will not stop an aggressor but a open back door definitely will not.
Glad they got rid of the last manager at the Cookeville Popeyes. Went this last Tuesday 6/21/22 and the place has made a 100% improvement! Place was clean and the food was great. Great job of getting rid of your poor management! 5 Stars much better place
We’ve always loved the occasional Popeyes for lunch, we’ve even been to the first Popeyes in NOLA. The service was terrible, the guy who worked the drive through was out of it or something, just rude, even how he greeted us through the speaker and then again at the window. This restaurant used way too much mayo on their sandwiches. The first couple of bites were delicious, that great Cajun flavor, then we got to the mayo lake. Did I mention way too much mayo? Not just a lot of mayo but more mayo and sauce than chicken. Wow, my husband and I both tossed the rest of our sandwiches. Ever time we mention or drive by Popeyes, we feel nauseous. Dang it, you’ve ruined my love of Popeyes.
Yet another wonderful staff in this town! I had just about written off Popeyes due to some crummy service at previous locations, but this one restored my faith in the brand. The chicken was done right, and the cole slaw was perfect. It put a smile on my face, so kudos!
Last week was shorted a piece of chicken on the order. The week before was given a few pieces of spicy when I ordered mild. Today I was told there would be a 20 minute wait for the chicken and was asked to pull into an empty parking spot to wait. I waited for over 40 minutes and ended up getting back in the drive through lane to get my food. They claimed when I got to the window that it had just come up and asked if I still wanted it. I should've told them no but I took the food. I get home and no red beans and rice which I paid for in the order!!! Couldn't call and let them know last week or this week because you go to voice mail that is not yet set up.
The staff was so unhelpful and when I got home with my food I literally bit into raw chicken. The staff had an obvious table dedicated to hanging out. The cashier didn’t ask me about sides, sauces or anything else. I didn’t remember to specify anything because I hadn’t been in awhile. So I didn’t get the spicy tenders I wanted, I didn’t get fries (I thought that was the default.) and I had to go back and ask for sauce because I don’t think about that either. Worst experience I have ever had with a fast food restaurant. I will not be back. I used to love this place. But the last couple times the staff has been the worst. I am done.
Their dining room was closed so we had to go through the drive thru. Chicken tasted like it had set out for a long time and was very dry. They were running out of fries so they said they would just give us what they had left.
