Excellent Italian Restaurant! The food was great. The friendly staff. The only down fall is if your in a small room it can get a little noisy. Other than that. It's really a nice place to have dinner.. I would recommend it to any one

Food was ok. I brought a cake to celebrate an 84th birthday. Charged 10 for bring your own cake. It wasn’t even cut for us. Service was very slow. When we were finishing up, then hostess came to our table and said: The 6:30 reservation is waiting! In other words, please leave. If the food was not so slow we would have left earlier! What a way to treat your customers!

My husband and I went for our anniversary and drove an hour and a half! It was very crowded and hard to have a conversation. My husband ordered a steak but the steak knife was so dull he couldn’t cut it. We found a gnat in his coke and the waiter acted very casual about the situation like it was something normal. When our food was boxed up we asked for our calamari to be boxed up as well but it wasn’t. Very disappointing when you have such high expectations after reading such great reviews.

**important to know that dinner is by reservation only** I arrived not knowing this, but was able to get seated by reservation for an hour later. I'd rate this 10 stars if I could. It's the cutest restaurant and the BEST food in Cookeville. The staff was very accommodating and everything felt elegant. It was the perfect fancy date-night.

We visited to celebrate a birthday but had a much worse experience celebrating an event than we had before. In the past, the servers were full of personality, made reference to celebration multiple times, and we were given a free dessert. This time no dessert and there was nothing really different than any other visit might have been except we were seated by a table with a loud crowd and we were given an entree that appeared to be at most the petite version of an entree of which we had asked for the large portion (2 pieces of chicken and only 3 ravioli). We're not sure if something has recently changed with this restaurant or just had an unusual experience, but we would not recommend this as a choice to celebrate an event.

This was our second visit. Ambiance is great; service was great; pricing is very good. Food was only average and a bit strange in our opinion. We were celebrating a big anniversary so willing to splurge. We tried to order their seafood stuffed mushrooms- out; tried to order their lasagna- out; ordered 2 cups of lobster bisque- very bland, no taste, very thick (beyond reasonable) with a lot of veggies but couldn’t find any lobster. I had the Maricious Seafood over linguine- it was outstanding! 5/5. My wife had the sausage and peppers. Way too many peppers, not enough sausage, and over powdered by excessive tomato marinara . Our montepulciano wine was pretty bad - did a quick Vivino search and found a 3.6 rating (poor) and average bottle cost of $13!!!! Anyway, we had a good time, but won’t rush back for a while

Excellent service and great menu. Atmosphere is exactly what you would hope for for any occasion.

Our server Andrew(???) was wonderful; very attentive. He gets 5 stars! We got the Seafood Bouillabaisse special. It was tasty but seriously for 32.00 per the amount of seafood in it was pathetic. $4 for a ramekin of red sauce?!?!?! Really disappointed. Choosing a night out so carefully these days. Next time we will choose another local establishment that offers ambiance and a better value.

Been in the area a couple of months. This was the best meal we have had. The ambiance is fantastic. The food was awesome, and our server Andrew did a fantastic job.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
