The 5 star rating isn't for the food. The steak was pretty good. The baked potato was good as well as the Mac and cheese. I'd give it 3.5 stars. The 5 star rating is for Victoria. My waitress and the bartender. She was amazing! I had a long weekend stuck in a hotel room and wasn't feeling myself. She lit up the room when she walked in. I really appreciated her being extremely friendly. Really made my experience so much better! I highly recommend everyone to stop in and say hi to her! No idea if she'll ever see this, but I'd love to tell her to keep shining and never let anyone dull her personality!
I ordered the New York Strip, Macaroni and Cheese and a Peach lemonade. The service was good, the food was good, the bread was horrible, prices were decent. Nothing to talk about really. just a good dinner.
We love LongHorn Steak house. We have never had a bad experience. The hostesses are really friendly. The waitress had an amazing personality and was on top of her game. We never had to ask for refills. It was really busy but she still made time to check on multiple times during our dinner.
Our food was inconsistent. My medium steak was extremely overcooked, my mother in laws medium cooked steak was extremely raw. My niece's hamburger had to be sent back due to rawness and come back hard as a brick, it was way overcooked...the fries where terrible. Our drinks were perfectly mixed and the appetizer, of fried onions was great. Best thing about our visit was the waitress, Tianna, (spelling??). She was fabulous!!
They were short staffed and had a wait but we called ahead and put our name on the list and got right in.The atmosphere was just what you’d expect at a steak house. Our server Emily was incredible, she was really on point. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection and the brussel sprouts were the best I’d ever put in my mouth. We didn’t wait on anything, our glasses were filled immediately and our food was out fast.Definitely recommend this location if you’re in the area.
Always awesome food and service!
Had an excellent Ribeye steak! It was cooked just right and the service was good as usual. It was a 10-15 minute wait for to be seated for dinner, so we ate at the bar without a problem. I eat here regularly and it is always very consistent food and service. The inside could use a renovation but other than that it's one of my favorite places in Cookeville.
Sat at the bar. Service was great. Quality of steak and cooking not so good. Ordered medium and got well done.
My wife and I decided to venture out for dinner this evening on a whim and decided on Longhorn. We had been here a couple of times and every other experience had been pleasant. This time was no exception. The service was prompt and courteous. We were seated immediately since we arrived just before the crowd because it did fill up quickly. Our server was quick and very attentive and our food arrived quickly and was prepared correctly. One thing that is noticeable and is no fault of the restaurant but simply a sign of the times is the quality of the steaks you get these days at any steakhouse.I buy a lot of steaks and cook at home because of the inflated price of beef and realize that if you expect to go to a restaurant and get a ribeye steak with 2 sides for around $20 something has to give.Don't get me wrong, the steak was not bad. It was good. A little over seasoned, but good. Tender, thin, not grisly but juicy. However, it kinda reminded me of the old Ponderosa steaks which really weren't bad steaks in their day. These are just the times we are living in and I appreciate Longhorn for providing a holsom dining experience and a quality meal.We will be back.
Excellent steak! The servers were attentive and kept my glass full. A manager visited the table to check on me and asked if I enjoyed my meal. Great food and experience!
