Great Burger and fries with ice cold beer very friendly and fast.

Pool, food and booze! Great laid back place

A bit of Cookeville history. In the ‘70s, my grandfather (Shorty Wright) in his 80’s would cut lawns for his beer money and then walk several miles from the east side of the “square” to John’s for his Bud Talls. He always talked about the place.

They have the best catfish sandwich I've ever put in my mouth!

Really nice people, good food and drinks. Bill was great and we will go back and I live in Nashville

Granny wont go in the buildin with me cause she says lose women and playin cards aint for the meek. But i love em! Nice small neighborhood bar. Friendly folks - staff and patrons.

Wendy, the new bartender, was super nice and friendly.

The experience was incredible! We had fish! I just don't think I can get enough? Service excellent! Laughter & just a good old time! Thanks Mr. Bill, im proud for you & I do love your food!

Cool place!!!! Staying at KOA/Fort Mill….headed back home to Myrtle Beach after a week in Gatlinburg TN. Happy to know this is right next door to campground. Bar, pool tables, darts, jukebox, outside eating under shaded area, food truck AND gas station, convenience AND liquor store…..all in one spot. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
