Last time I came here was I think over a year ago because I had a terrible experience with the food being too greasy, too old, or lacking in flavor.This trip was much better. Still a little dirty in the dining area but it stays busy so I guess I can understand that. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. The food was fresh and tasted really good. So happy to see it's getting a bit better here!
we got there at 8pm on a Friday night. No wait for a table, lots of seating. They were still well stocked, and still had the grilled steak, medium rare, or will give you your steak cooked as you request perfect! Staff is very nice, offering refills on drinks ( no extra charge). We will definitely be back, and often. We are on the Keto diet, and found lots of choices to fill us up. Great desserts too, we had to skip, we had some cut fruit. We are recommending this buffet to our friends.
Since we don't have a Golden Corral near where I live, I make a point to come there! I'm NEVER disappointed eating here!!! Golden Corral has to loose money when I go there, lol! Cause I might not look like I can eat a lot but I can! All the foods were prepared perfectly! They we properly hot & tasty. Take my advice EAT AT GOLDEN CORRAL the next time you're hungry! Yum!
Love the all you can eat buffet with so many different options. Love going for the steak, especially. Waiter/waitress was very attentive with drinks as well.
Always a wonderful service and good food. Had breakfast and lunch at same visit.
This G.C. has made changes and has cleaned up the place. Food seems to be a bit better. A few things are not so fresh tasting but the majority was great. Now about the poor attitude of the staff just being rude and pushing past literally pushing bumping etc. Without as much of a sound from their lips. But then again, I'm learning Cookeville within its self is a very rude place all together. They say us Northerners are rude... not!
Omg, wonderful selection of choices, very nice salad bar, large selection of desserts, chicken livers and seared salted jalapeños, oh yeah. Very clean and the staff are wonderful friendly fine people. Oh we have missed buffets so much, what a pleasant surprise to find one open again. Blessed. Enjoyed every bite and the soft serve ice cream also. Ready to go again. Every town needs one. Awesome, thank you golden corral for the experience.
It's about normal I'd say I haven't been in so many years so it was an adjustment to serving yourself... but when you go inside you pay for your plate grab your forks and get your drinks while you pay then Seat Yourself.. then just get your food and when your done you just leave... So the atmosphere was kinda meh but it could have just been me.. I had trouble reaching the Cucumbers at the salad bar they was in the far back and my arms wasn't long enough to reach and it could have been that it was practically empty... alot at the salad bar was almost empty... i had the fish which was pretty good.. there is a variety style of food and the wait staff that was working the floor was friendly and things appeared to be clean so I lost have any negative things to say if you like buffets then the golden corral may just be for you
Great place 4 family or group gathering. They have a very long verity of different flavors and styles of food all at the same time. 1 kid wants pizza, the other wants steak, the mom want a salad and u want them all 2 have what they want, not to mention u also want some shrimp & little Chinese food to. You stop in there everybody is happy.
We had a great experience when we visited. All the food was fresh and cooked perfectly. The salad bar was great as well. Friendly service.
