Mexican food and Margaritas. I loved their "camarones a la diabla". Good location and friendly staff. We are definitely coming back.
Super friendly staff and fantastic food.Price is good for the portion size.Margherita's taste great too. Been there 2X first time was dine in dinner about 6 months ago. Today was take out lunch. Great both times, we were very happy.

I had a pretty underwhelming experience. Ordered cheese enchiladas to go, they told me 15 minutes, got there in 10 and waited inside for the 5 minutes. They brought my food out and it was ice cold. The cheese inside the enchiladas had already solidified as if they were made hours prior. The queso also was cold. Nothing tasted bad. In fact the solidified cold queso was pretty good. The enchiladas were ok. Probably would have been good if the food was atleast warm.
Stayed at the hotel for an overnight that shares a parking lot with the restaurant, and what a nice surprise! Food was great, service was great and seems it's where the locals eat so even better.
Our family was in Cookeville on vacation and wanted to get some mexican food for dinner and seemed many options in the area. With El Tapatio having two locations in the same town, it seemed like the obvious choice. We ordered up a variety of different options and the entire family enjoyed. The staff was very helpful and friendly which is always a plus in today's world of lack of service with many places. I would highly recommend for your family.

Those large margaritas were fish bowl size! The food and service was excellent. Won't missing Texas as much as anticipated. It was so delicious!
Tasty food and pleasant place. Located next to the Best Western (same turn). Very good value for the money spent.
