Wonderful food. The ambience is definitely low lighting which is always found in fine dinning.A local favorite for people who actually enjoy the experience of fine dining in a in a small town vibe.
Great experience! We came in 40 minutes before close on a whim and they were so accommodating for food and drink. Rebecca was so nice and made us feel so welcome. We ordered filet mignon, lobster tail, crab cakes, and seafood scampi. The portions and flavors were delicious! We will definitely be back. Thank you!
Very attentive staff for a Friday night. My end cut prime rib was tender and with a flavorful rub.
Visited here in February 2022. It was a solid place for food. Cookeville is lacking any high end restaurants, but this is better than Texas Roadhouse. Steak was tasty though. Decent wine selection. Service was standard.
A friend & I went to dinner, it was my first time there. We were told they were out of prime rib so my friend ordered the Rockafella burger. This is supposed to come with spjcy spinach dip, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. She ordered it without tomatoes along with steamed broccoli for her side. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, which comes with hot or mild chicken tenders, lettuce, ranch and mixed cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla. I got it medium with french fries as my side. The place is very dimly lit, hardly any decor on the walls or in the place. It’s very dingy & looks overly dank & dirty. The service was extremely slow. It wasn’t overly busy, so not sure why it was so slow. The burger was cooked perfectly along with the spinach dip. It was really creamy & probably the best part of the burger! Unfortunately my wrap was so overcooked & dry it wasn’t even eatable. I was not impressed with this visit at all.
Run away from this restaurant. 3-31-2022 ate at this dirty place last night I ordered the filet with crab sauce and baked potato, husband had prime rib. Baked potato had been cooked three days before at least and recooked, hard as a rock, tasted burnt, the filet was all fat and gristle couldn't eat, husband's prime rib was tough not worth the time or money. BAD AND EXPENSIVE
Nice steak house. Prime rib is awesome, and you should try the stuffed Louisiana Chicken! ? Their in house made crab cakes are also on top!
Very nice, my first visit ? and was very pleased. Service was right on spot! Food was excellent. Hot, fresh, all orders were correct ?. I plan on return this weekend with my husband. Thank you Chars ?
The waiter was great. Friendly and came around at appropriate times. Food was good though a little salty. Prices reasonable.
My husband, son and I ate here yesterday. The food is a little pricey but we were all pleased with our meal. My husband especially raved about his stir fry. I had rattlesnake pasta which was very good. $15 sounds like a lot but when I consider that I actually got three meals out of it, it’s not too bad. I was disappointed that a salad or side was extra and no bread either.
