This place has good pizza and the dough is good. It's pretty pricey. We got two 10" pizza's and two water bottles and it cost $30. That said I understand the economy and the price of products going up and passing this on to the customer and la la la..... It's just I'm not sure I'd pay this price again for this pizza. The bathrooms were not as clean as one would like. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It's good but just not sure it's $30 good.
Walked in and right away had a feeling they were the real thing with the band posters on the wall. Counter woman was super friendly, and I was greeted by Big Tony like we were old friends. Ok A+ on service but how was the pie? Yeah! Big, huge normal size large like you’d expect and just the right amount of grease dripping off! Fold it over and forget-about-it. Yay, good pizza DOES exist in Tennessee. I give them a solid 8 out of 10. You won’t be disappointed Keep up the good work.
Fabulous pizza, great service, great prices. We had the garlic knots, house salad, and 18” pizza. Everything we had was exceptional. Tony and his daughter were so nice. That crust- oh that wonderful crust!!!! Thin crust only, loads of cheese, and great sauce. We also had the cannoli i chips and the red velvet cheese cake to share at the table and everybody loved them both. No complaints and would definitely recommend!
Just down the street from Tennessee Tech is a small family owned pizzeria worth a shot. Atmosphere is a lil meek but the pizza was top notch. I had the garlic knots and a 10” pie. The knots were slightly overdone and didn’t have a distinctive flavor. But the pizza crust was the perfect hand-tossed thickness with a crispness to it with nice soft center. Perfect portion of ingredients without them being loose and falling off. Def going to be back for more pizza. Calzones looked amazing as well…..till next time!!
Authentic New York Italian pizza with the attitude to go with it! We had a big party that we had called ahead and scheduled. They weren’t weren’t willing to accommodate our kids or extra people that were coming (only 3 or 4 extra people). The owners got upset about this and basically told us to hush and “calm down” even though we’re were just trying to figure out how to help the situation so we could eat there. Well, they lost out on a good $300+ table just because their attitude. And we tip good too! I definitely won’t ever be going back there.
Ordered the 18" pepperoni and the chicken Alfredo...I really am not a fan of Alfredo but wow...I have become a fan of Big Tony's. The chicken was fabulous. And the pizza...my family loved it!!! My young granddaughter loved the Alfredo...she ate almost half the order. Being from Midwest originally, I grew up on Chicago style but I'm a huge fan of NY style now. No more chain pizza joints for my family. What a hidden gem!
The pizza chains have ruined me on pizza, so I was reluctant to try. But, we ordered two 18 inch pizzas delivered for a family get together. The pizza was delivered quickly and it was still nice and hot. Big Tony’s pizza was the best pizza I have had in many years. All the ingredients were fresh and the pizza sauce was very good. Both pizzas were gone in a matter of minutes. I didn’t have the heartburn and upset stomach that always get from the preservatives in the big chain pizzas. We highly recommend Big Tony’s Pizza.
I absolutely love their pizza!!! Personally I think it's the beat pizzeria in town!
Some of the best pizza you will ever have. I came in acting like a jackass due to some miscommunication with my party and made a fool of myself. Despite that Tony still showed me nothing but respect when he honestly shouldn't have. Great man, great business, and the food is outstanding. You won't regret eating from Tony ever!
Pizza is good! I'm from the NY/NJ area and it comes close to home. The calzone on the other hand.....will never order again. Small, hardly any ricotta cheese...I don't even know what to say! Such a disappointment. If you served that where I'm from you'd be out of business.I would go back for the pizza though....
