They were popular. Service was still great as was the food. I was told the manager was on PTO. They should be happy team performed well in their absence. Dee was really carrying the torch. Good job Waffle House!
This had to be the worst Waffle House experience we have ever had. This is the first time we have been to one since covid hit. It is my my mother-in-laws favorite place to eat while on road trips. Needless to say, we were all deeply disappointed.Not overly busy but had to wait for a table to be cleaned to be seated. 4 servers and a cook working. Our server had been there about 2 months, the others were newer. The "cook" was a "manager" from another store.Asked for the little menu but was told they didn't have it any more. Orders were wrong, over cooked. No salsa for the omelets, said it was discontinued, sausage in our omelets, and about half of the hash brown menu missing.
Worst waffle I have been to in my entire life. I travel the country for work and eat at waffle house pretty regularly. This is my 3rd visit to this particular one and have been let down each time. This service is awful, the food has gotten my employees sick. They store Definitely needs some attention from the managers
Walked in waited 20 minutes for a menu. 3 tables with people. Was served coffee. Ordered. Was served a refill. Another couple came in and ordered. The cook filled there order. Waited 45 minutes my order was never turned in. 2 other families were waiting to be seated. I paid for my coffee and left. Waitress said she was about to turn in my order. Really I've been here an hour. Two families were never seated. They also left. Would be one thing if the restaurant was full. It wasn't half full.
I stopped for a quick bite to eat and everyone was very nice. They really make you feel welcome. Will definitely be back.
This Waffle House location was great! It wasn’t too busy and the service was speedy quick!I like Waffle House because it’s always predictable. I usually get the two eggs, hashbrowns, toast, and bacon. More than enough in a portion, and good diner food!
On Jan. 6, 2022, we were traveling from Dothan, AL to Indianapolis to attend the National Championship Game. Just a new miles north of the AL/TN stateline, we encountered the kind of snow, sleet & ice I occasionally had to travel in the 50 years I lived in TN. It was so bad we along with many truckers were exiting at Columbia, TN Exit 46 & I-65 & lucky to make it off the exit around 12 noon. With 6 hotels to pick from, we were fortunate to get a room as they were already almost full due to the severe weather. We went to look for a place open after checking in. IF the truck stop restaurant on the other side of the interstate was open, we could Not venture that far. .Not 1 restaurant was open on our side of I-65 for all staying in the 6 hotels…Except The Waffle House right there at I-65 Exit 46 on Bear Creek Rd. Two Ladies were running the entire location by themselves! Not McDonalds, Arby’s, Cracker Barrel or Stans Country Restaurant when we passed by at 12:30. I home Waffle House Corporate Management checks Trip Advisor posts because the Ladies are to be commended not only for their service with a smile But for showing up for Work in a time in Our Country do not do so..even in the snow, sleet & ice they handled cooking as well and boxing up food & ringing up the sales for what was probably hundreds over the 2 day span. We love Waffle Houses but we have never had to get it To Go but in that day, I praise these 2 employees for their service & their work ethic because we were just so happy to have a meal, a good meal that we could warm up safe & warm in the microwave in our hotel room microwave! Thanks to those 2 Ladies who kept the location open til sunset and were there again the next morning! You Deserve A Bonus For What You 2 Pull Off On Jan. 6, 2022!
Staff is undertrained and rude. They don’t take pride in their work or even trying to get and order right. This is one of my favorite places to eat but I quit going to the one by me. I’m tired of paying for food that I’ve not received.
I normally don't leave a review but to find a good restaurant still. Walked right in greated and fast friendly. Food was amazing. Server was amazing and friendly. Good job guys thank you.
Took our drink and food order promptly..however after 35 minutes of waiting we still didn't have our drinks while our waiter stood around making coffee....we walked out
