Wow! Do yourself a favor and go to Southern Tré Steakhouse! We went as a night out with the family on vacation, and we were NOT disappointed! Steaks were perfectly cooked and delivered with breakneck speed. Their servers make you feel like you are the only folks there! You will be entirely too full, but check out the fabulous dessert menu. Tennessee cheesecake or chocolate overload; you can't lose!
We had the best waitress, Lexi. She was very nice, friendly and didn't hesitate to make sure we had everything we needed. So staff and ambience was great so now about the food. OMG!!!Absolutely delicious and they make theres originals. I could've stayed to try everything ? Fine dining at its best!
Outstanding food and service. My wife got steak tips and a baked potato. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp with a baked potato. Very generous portions and absolutely delicious. Some of the best shrimp I've had. Food was prepared and served in a timely manner.
Love this place! The steak and potato are the best in town. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because I'm not a fan of the hamburger (don't like the seasonings) and French fries. I prefer the option of a regular steak fry, not seasoned. You should have a more traditional option. Otherwise, love the food.
We wound up eating lunch on a Sunday as the other place our friends had chosen had over a 90 minute wait. We were able to sit at the bar and order food directly upon sitting. Very friendly service, quick service, and absolutely wonderful food for each of us. I would go out of my way to eat here again.
This place was ok, the steak I had was pretty fair, it was a 14oz ribeye, wasn't seasoned enough for me, but it was alright, but the grilled oysters was truly amazing, loved them, and the bread was great also
Food was pretty good. The onion straw appetizer was the best of it’s kind I’ve had. My ribeye was very fatty,despite the assurances of our server. Other steaks and the seafood pasta were very good.Service was lacking. We weren’t provided with napkins and tableware when we were seated, nor when our finger food appetizer was delivered. Even after asking, it took several minutes. Bread and butter were served without bread plates. Entrees were served before we had a chance to finish our salads. Our server did stop by once to check on satisfaction. My water glass was never refilled.There was a “processing charge” on the bill. When asked, the server stumbled and seemingly made up something about credit card fees, even though no method of payment had been determined. When I pointed out that one couple was paying cash, she said she would have the manager take it off their bill.Overall, not awful, just disappointing.
First time eating here and we will definitely be back! Service was great and food was spectacular. One of the best steaks I've had in awhile! The baked potato was amazing. The stuffed mushrooms appetizer was very good. I cant wait to come back and try other menu items! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Columbia.
Southern Tre catered our December wedding, and I can't even count how many compliments we've received on the food, service, presentation, and more. Julia was AMAZING to work with: super friendly, responsive, and extremely patient with all of the many questions a stressed out bride has to ask. She made the dinner easily the least stressful part of the wedding. She and all of the other staff were incredibly professional and awesome at the actual event, and my very picky bridesmaids raved about how wonderful they were to work with. And of course the food...wow. I highly recommend the prime rib, macaroni & cheese, and mashed potatoes, coffee/hot chocolate bar, and really anything else you can get from them. They were very affordable considering all of the items we ordered, much more so than other vendors we checked. "Best wedding food I've ever had" is a very common compliment we receive, which honestly was our ultimate goal other than getting married. Book these guys now!!!!
The food was fantastic! Our wait time was short, our server went above and beyond, and our order was perfectly prepared!! I feel the price definitely matches the quality and portion size of food that you get! 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend and look forward to returning!
