We stopped in last Sunday while visiting family in the Columbia area. I was met by a clean and bright dining area and was impressed to see the staff cleaning surfaces, especially the glass around the counter where you order. They were busy, but helped us promptly with our orders despite our group being large, we also really had no clue as to what we wanted before we got there to order. If you've ever worked in food service especially, you know how fun it can be for service industry staff to wait on you to decide! So far all of my review has been on the outstanding staff and atmosphere, but I haven't even gotten to the most important part. The food! The elotes are amazing. As are the lime and strawberries and cream frozen bars. This is definitely a true mom and pop corner restaurant. Anyone in the Columbia community or traveling through would be proud to support a small business like this!
Stopped in to get a treat for my mother and grandmother. I overlooked the filthy floor and went to the counter. Everything looked delicious but I guess I'll never know. For whatever reason neither of the women behind the counter would wait on me. If you aren't in business to make money I won't give it to you.
I loved the banana split i got that day with a lady that made them really well, i previously went there before and had a younger girl make it for me and it just looked messy.

The best ice cream and iced coffee I have ever had! Despite the fact there could be a language barrier for some, these people are SO NICE and SWEET! Don’t knock it just because of that barrier. Go in and try something that looks good! :)
My family loves this place! Staff is always friendly and the treats are always delicious! To me, Paletas is much better then Baskin, DQ, and any other ice cream place. If you have not had them yet, give them a try, you won't be disappointed
I was so excited to try this place out. I will never come back, to a place that allows discrimination. Very disappointing experience.
