Great sports bar. Staff and customers are always friendly and the food is surprisingly good. Always comes out hot and fresh. The burgers are bomb, and the chicken tenders are huge, crispy, and moist. Fries are battered I think which I like. Crispy and hot. Next time I'll get the philly cheese steak, which came highly recommended.
Food and service was great. Got the wings as I’ve heard they are best in Columbia and I’m a believer. Those were awesome. Jumbo wings and I got the spicy garlic which were seasoned perfect. They were also on a bed of tortilla chips which was a nice extra crunch. The place was real busy on a Sunday night and the service was amazing. Highly recommend!
Exceptional food, but the service is grade A!! Lexie our waitress was on top of everything. Drinks, food, and asking if we were in need of anything. She was so kind and answered any questions we had. Definitely one of the best service experiences we have had. If you come to Embers, ask for Lexie!
Ate a late lunch here with my family on a Saturday afternoon. The positive aspects were the excellent and friendly service, and the 2 for 1 drinks. The negative aspect was the food. Although the salads were huge, their soup of the day, chicken tortellini was laughably bad, with a vinegary taste. The patty melt, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, cheese sticks and fried mushrooms were ok. Their wine selection was also very limited. All-in-all an average experience.
Everything you hear about Embers is true! These people can cook!Their ribs are some of the most tender I have ever tasted and they fall off the bone! The atmosphere is like a tavern...and a sports bar rolled into one. Family friendly (after ten not so much, but hey, it's a bar!)i am never disappointed. Their steak sandwich is wonderful, and the service is very friendly. i have even done carry out by calling ahead but make sure you call well ahead if on Friday...they get packed and there can be a long wait for carry out.FIVE STARS IS TOO LITTLE...i GIVE IT A SEVEN!
Wanted to try something new tonight so I looked this place up online. Decided to give it a try for dinner tonight and the cook didn’t let me down. The grilled chicken was well seasoned and moist. The chicken was placed on a toasted bun with melted cheese, bacon and sided with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a pickle. I choose steamed broccoli for my side and was pleasantly surprised to receive it perfectly steamed and seasoned . The servers were friendly and helpful. Great experience.
Awesome food fora good price. Good drink selection and happy hour selection. Would of been a 5 of 5 but most of the wait staff is slow coming back to tables except Jordan, Penny & Jackie. Bar staff is good to, especially Mel! Definitely will o back!
My brother was in town for the holidays and the Titans were playing so we decided to take him to Embers. He enjoys a beer now and then. ? Upon sitting down We discovered the drink specials and happy hour. Good start. We ordered some appetizers including fried pickles. Delicious! High scores from my foodie brother. Two of us ordered the ribs. When they describe them as “fall of the bone tender” they aren’t kidding. Again delicious! To quote my brother, they were “on point”. The burgers the others ordered also got high compliments. Our server, Lacy, was super sweet and attentive even though they were very busy. This place is bit of a hidden gem located behind Twice Daily. We give it 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I cannot understand how this place has so many 5 star reviews. All of the food was terrible, flavorless or veering on the edge of burnt. Our service was awful. We are a young couple (early 20s) and we sat there watching our server give their other tables better service simply because they are older and young people have a tendency to tip poorly. Little did our server know we are both servers. We left giving a 20% tip. Imagine what it would have been if it was better service. We usually tip 30-50 even sometimes 100% if the service is awesome. Shame we couldn’t be just a bit older and had better service. We probably would have given this place another chance if we had better service. But the bad food mixed with the bad service? Yeah. We won’t be back.
We love Embers. Steak tips, philly, and onion rings are all super good. Their app and drink specials are pretty good as well.Lastly- Lacie is the absolute best! She’s incredibly thoughtful and a great server!
