Sunday buffet, We call them before we went here to confirm and they told us they have steak and seafood but when we came in they don’t have nothing left just v vegetables and still they charge us full price and the food taste awful cold we just got a plate of salad !! I will not recommend this buffet at all we will Never go back!!!!!!!!!! We have to go to another restaurant and eat from farmers ! we expect that the food are good because of the reviews from other people but it was not good it taste awful !
The food is always fresh & fabulous. Scrumptious!!! The atmosphere makes you feel warm, welcomed, & right at home! The fine folks there are incredible & so friendly & they are truly wonderful to be around!I highly recommend them, & I strongly urge you to go & try it for yourselves!!!You'll be thrilled you went!!!
Bland food had to add salt n pepper to almost everything n it didn’t help much the fried chicken was juicy but bland not seasoned enough the Mac n cheese also needed more seasoning or cheese the peach cobbler didn’t taste right no toppings for ice cream I wish they had more variety of different foods It has potential to be good
Loved the waitresses and service provided. It was very clean and cozy inside.I never saw the mall location, but to operate a restaurant in today’s age is hard work.“For hire” signs have been out a while, so I believe everyone deserves to give this restaurant some grace.I hope they get the help they need because everything we had tonight was delicious. I’d love to see them stay in business!Food wasn’t as warm as I’d like and the food could use a good stir every now and then, but the quality and quantity was there. I’m definitely going again earlier in the evening! I’d love to see how everything tastes on the weekend! Very family friendly and just overall a really good time!
So I’ll start off by saying, this used to be pretty decent. We went before when it was at the “mall” location. We were all shocked at how bland and off-putting it all was. The macaroni was just soup, the potatoes couldn’t have been more tasteless if they tried. We don’t/haven’t gone anywhere else for over a week. My little toddler seemed fine for hours, then all of a sudden was screaming woken up throwing up, and my husband was downstairs getting sick at the same time. We all eat different things due to my diet, my toddler’s picky stage, and my husband wanting to eat something other than what I’m eating. Also, upon leaving there was the biggest pile of vomit outside that I’ve ever seen in my life. My husband almost stepped in it because he was holding my toddler, and I had to pull him to make sure he didn’t. I’m going to assume that either a patron in the had a stomach virus or that we got food poisoning from there. When I told my sister she said that the last time she went she had the exact same thing happen, and she never went back. This will be the last time for us ever again.
Not at all pleased with the new location! Steak and gravy, steak was raw! Everything was cold. Found a hair in the steak. Not impressed!! What has happened???
My family enjoyed their breakfast buffet after church a couple weeks back. Food quality and selection was better than I expected given the reviews. It's good home style southern cooking, family style buffet not a country club experience. That being said, my entire family, including the picky eaters loved it and want to go back to try their dinner buffet soon. In regard to the service, I believe everyone needs a little grace these days. After speaking with our server, they have been super busy since moving into their new location and can't get enough help. Considering our server was one of two for the entire floor, I thought the service we received was fabulous. Looking forward to going back!
Went for breakfast. The food would be really good if it was actually hot. They cluster everyone together. The waitresses only come out when new customers come in to give them the initial drink orders. They don't come out to see if you need a refill on coffee or any other drink. I'd hate to depend on my tips here that's for sure.
My granddaughter and I ate at the Farmers Family Restaurant last night for dinner (located at 5201 Trotwood Avenue in Columbia, TN). It was delicious! All of the food was hot, fresh, and tasty, and they kept each item restocked. There was a large salad section, wonderful rolls, lightly breaded catfish, fried chicken breasts, salmon, crawfish, frog legs, macaroni & cheese, wonderful vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy … anything your heart desires! They also have a wide variety of desserts, including ice cream from the machine. The ice cream was delicious too! For dessert, they have chocolate meringue pie, lemon meringue pie, chocolate cake, Boston cream pie, three kinds of warm cobbler, cookies, etc. … too much to remember! We will definitely be back! Matter of fact, we are going back tonight! ❤️ As a side note, this restaurant is new. It was built last year and opened in November. It looks new and is very clean. (It used to be located at the mall until the mall was torn down so they had to relocate.) The owner and the people who work there were very nice, too!
We are not even from this town. We had looked them up for the star reviews. Called several times trying to find them. They close at 9 pm. It’s 8pm. As they had rolled their eyes an huffed as my family of 4 walked in the door. One came to tell us u can look at the food an we’re doing to go boxes only. As we left, a woman came out after us telling us no we can come eat. No ma’am thank you it’s our anniversary weekend, your staff was rude as we walked in the door, they all were sitting at the table cutting up on the phones. Not wanting to wait on us anyways. Really disappointed from the reviews to be treated as that.
