Wonderful food in a clean environment… however the woman behind the counter is a sorry excuse for a human being. She has been rude to me and my family, time after time, verbally abusing any customers who walk through the store front, PLEASE, IF YOU ARE READING THIS… PLEASE STOP WORKING IN THE STORE. I am tired of seeing the woman in the window and wishing I didn’t already drive across town.
Well this is my 2nd time eating here and the 1st time the food and service was great!!! This time brisket tough as shoe leather. The young lady at the window acted as if she couldn't talk after telling me the price. No thank you nothing, no come again, no have a nice day NOTHING!!! This food is to expensive for this type nonsense....I knew it was to good to be true....Smh!!! Well this was my last time!!!!
BBQ, sauce, and sides are always great. The sauce is a Kansas City, sweet and tangy style, which I really enjoy. My go-to dishes are the BBQ baked potato and BBQ nachos. I don't recommend their salads - the lettuce is lackluster, as is true with most BBQ joints. Who goes to a BBQ joint for salad anyway?? The speed of service is usually not bad. Friendliness of staff is hit or miss. I've heard stories of why the staff are sometimes in a bad mood. When you work in harsh management conditions, it filters down to the customers that the staff interact with. This includes the snarky signage that explains how to use their half-functioning, drive-thru system. You'll understand what I'm talking about if you hit up the drive-thru. Even though the food is good, management and customer interaction can make or break a business. This is a big deal to me. For this reason alone, my star rating will be 3. If I notice that improvements are made, I will adjust in the future.
Waited at the window an unreasonable amount of time. The staff forget hot sauce, utensils and straws. They were not busy we were the only car. Get to the office the pork sandwiches were plain (only one should have been) buns were old and stale sides were a joke! $32 to feed 3 people and everyone’s still hungry. Never again. For the love of all that’s good someone open a decent bbq restaurant in this town.
The hot potato the butter would not melt the food was cold I went back to the store to get my money she wouldn’t let me talk to the manager or the owner what a shame to pass that off for $10.65 of hard earned money what a shame don’t shop here
The food was cold the butter didn’t even melt on the potato the cheese didn’t even melt I. When I called and told her how awful the meal was she didn’t say oh I’m sorry for the experience that’s not what we want you to have — she said oh thank you are you kidding me this is unacceptable when you spend $10.65 on a potato and I can’t get it right…. And why are they so afraid to let you speak to a manager or the owner what’s that about so they don’t take ownership in the food they serve. Then when you call to ask to speak to a supervisor or manager they hang up poor poor business
I wanted to specifically mention how professional and courteous the owner Kayla is. This was my first time trying this establishment and I made a couple mistakes ordering. Kayla handled everything fixing my order making sure I left happy and wanting to come back. You can really see the pride she has in her business and really cares about her patrons. I appreciate you Kayla.
Absolutely the rudest business I have ever dealt with. From now on I will drive to 10 miles out of my way to culleoka to hwy.50 bbq before I spend another dollar on this pig slop. My company has spent thousands on catering at this establishment, even had weddings catered. No more, learn how to treat people.
Bad attitude and food is not worth the price. Wish I could give you no stars these people have lost respect for their customers. I recomend JJs at least the give you enough food for the money. This bussiness should close down
I don’t know about the rudeness. I have never witnessed anything like that. A bit under staffed maybe, but it still comes out pretty fast. I LOVE the food. It’s my favorite BBQ place. I drive 13 miles to go every so often. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. One day my son and I were playing some oldies music and she loved it.
